The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kovacs shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wonka is trying to defend but Kovacs finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kovacs drops an elbow to the side of Wonka's head. The fighters are battling for position here. Wonka manages to regain full guard. Nice work. And that's the end of the fight! Roy Choi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Choi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Johnson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moors will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Moors moves away from the strike by Snjaric. Moors throws a half hearted mid kick. Snjaric jabs at Moors's body. Moors moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Snjaric's coach down at Team Finland was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Snjaric's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Moors misses with an uppercut. Snjaric saw that one coming. Snjaric looks like he wants to counter punch here. Moors definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Moors tries to keep at a distance but Snjaric has taken the fight into the clinch. Moors tries to throw a body punch but Snjaric avoids it by throwing Moors back against the cage. Moors is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Snjaric to keep the fight standing. Moors lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Moors pulls guard. Snjaric wants to control from the top but Moors keeps moving. Moors throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moors pushes a forearm under Snjaric's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Snjaric is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

McGee seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. McGee clobbers Whitelock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. McGee defending well as Whitelock loads up on a big left hand. Whitelock on the wrong end of a nice hook. McGee moves out of range of the body kick. McGee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Whitelock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. McGee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Whitelock has escaped the position, nice work there. Whitelock is positioning himself to get back to half guard. McGee has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Whitelock is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. McGee yanks on the arm and Whitelock is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by McGee.
