The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivescu shoots in and gets a takedown into Kanki's guard. Rivescu pushes down on Kanki's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rivescu stalling. Kanki works his way to full guard. Good work. Rivescu is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kanki is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kanki is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kanki controls Rivescu momentarily but Rivescu frees himself. Kanki is looking for a triangle but Rivescu pushes his legs off easily.
Kanki keeping moving, preventing Rivescu from controlling successfully. Kanki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rivescu trying to control the position from guard on top but Kanki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kanki throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Rivescu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kanki wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Rivescu preventing the sweep.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kanki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rivescu. Kanki dances in with a quick combination. Rivescu is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kanki snaps Rivescu's head back. Rivescu stumbles backwards against the cage. Kanki steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Rivescu's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Rivescu just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Reino Kanki! Reino Kanki decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erickson throws a series of strikes that have Brandon backpedaling.
It looks like Brent Brandon has been cut. Erickson looks to land a left hand but Brandon moved out of range nicely. Erickson digs a good hook to Brandon's body.
Erickson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brandon slips a jab and a cross from Erickson.
Erickson misses with a double jab
and Brandon counters by clinching up. Brandon wants to take the fight to the mat but Erickson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Brandon goes for a takedown attempt but Erickson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Juan Erickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandon is breathing heavily. Erickson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brandon counters with a single leg into guard. Erickson didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Erickson wants to stand and escape but Brandon is having none of it. Brandon won't allow Erickson to sweep him here. Brandon is pushing down on Erickson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Erickson is fighting to maintain full guard but Brandon has managed to sneak the leg through. Erickson is trying to get back to full guard. Brandon is looking to take a break and control but Erickson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandon is trying to work for a kimura but Erickson is defending well.
Erickson tries to roll over but Brandon keeps him under control. Erickson manages to escape and get back to his feet! Erickson lands a right hook to the body.
Erickson misses with a few strikes there.
Brandon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Erickson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A jab from Erickson finds it's way through Brandon's defenses. Erickson throws a combination that misses and Brandon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brandon. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brandon advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brandon has an Americana. Erickson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Brandon is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Brandon hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guappo swats away the attempt to clinch by Czyk. Guappo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Guappo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Czyk is fending him off so far but Guappo persists. Nope, Czyk circles away and we're back to standing. Czyk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Guappo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Czyk closes the distance and pushes Guappo back into the cage. Czyk putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Guappo in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Guappo wants to break free but Czyk has control.
Guappo takes a knee to the side of the body. Guappo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Czyk throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Guappo blocks it with crossed arms. Czyk lands a good knee to the midsection. Guappo won't want to take too many of those. Guappo is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Czyk - that's hurt Guappo badly! Oh, another knee lands and Guappo is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Guappo doesn't seem to be complaining.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Damme takes one on the button. Tiitti misses with a low kick.
Tiitti looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Van Damme! Tiitti just content to control the position. Tiitti working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Damme struggling a bit here. Tiitti tries for a kimura but Van Damme is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Damme wants to control but Tiitti postures up. Tiitti decides to stand up, so the ref orders Van Damme to his feet. Van Damme throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tiitti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Van Damme looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Tiitti blocks a head kick by Van Damme.
Jean Paul Van Damme is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tiitti closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Come on Tiitti - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tiitti content to control rather than advance. Tiitti uses his free foot to push down on Van Damme's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Van Damme. Van Damme felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Tiitti throwing strikes here but Van Damme is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Tiitti controlling his opponent. Tiitti landing strikes from the mount and Van Damme is in trouble! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Van Damme is desperately trying to improve his position but Tiitti has a good base and remains in mount.

Lucky escape for Van Damme because Tiitti loaded up on that one. Tiitti takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tiitti has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tiitti not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tiitti not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tiitti drops an elbow to the side of Van Damme's head. Van Damme makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Tiitti bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tiitti thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tiitti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Van Damme gets caught napping as Tiitti dives in and scores a takedown. Van Damme manages to retain guard. Tiitti is standing up over Van Damme. Van Damme looks to escape but Tiitti dives into side control.
Tiitti is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Van Damme is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Van Damme is letting Tiitti control him for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tiitti has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tiitti decides to take the fight back to the feet. Tiitti fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Van Damme takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tiitti has Van Damme up against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tiitti decides to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiitti is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Tiitti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tiitti tries to get out of the position. Tiitti is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tiitti looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Van Damme is looking to improve his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tiitti in particular looking to stall. Repa Tiitti is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tiitti stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Van Damme to get to his feet. Tiitti gets a double leg takedown into Van Damme's guard. Tiitti is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Repa Tiitti showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tiitti has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by Begovic there. Begovic tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Begovic misses with a left hand and Shark makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Shark with a nice cross. Begovic throws a jab when Shark was well out of range. Shark has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Begovic on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Shark avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Shark lands a nice leg kick that just misses Begovic's sensitive parts. Begovic lands a jab to the head.
A head kick misses from Begovic. Shark was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Shark bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shark lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Shark throws a series of strikes that have Begovic backpedaling.
Begovic lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Shark throws a wild body kick that Begovic sees coming a mile off. Roland Begovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shark swings for the body but Begovic moves out of range.
Begovic is looking to slow Shark down with leg kicks. Shark uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Shark slips a straight right by Begovic. Shark closes the distance and clinches. Begovic is trying to break the clinch but Shark is controlling him. Shark prevents Begovic from breaking the clinch.

Shark throws a leg kick which misses Begovic's front leg but catches the back leg as Begovic tries to avoid it. A kick lands to the mid section there for Shark. Shark works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Begovic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shark was well out of range. Poor timing from Begovic. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shark. Begovic swinging wildly here.
Begovic jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shark bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Begovic takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shark connects with a crisp jab. Begovic looks to land a left hand but Shark moved out of range nicely. Begovic lands with an uppercut that bounces Shark off the cage and back into range. Shark lands a slapping body shot.
Begovic has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Shark checks a low kick from Begovic.

Begovic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Begovic walks into a straight right hand from Shark. Shark is looking to slow Begovic down with leg kicks. Begovic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Begovic tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Shark swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Begovic misses with a kick to the body.
Begovic gets tackled into the cage by Shark. Shark maintains the clinch. Shark throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Begovic blocking some punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lansky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lewis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lewis seems a little lost for a moment, as Lansky dominates the positioning. Lansky throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
