The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loco throws a body shot but no joy.

Loco cracks Kovalenko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kovalenko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Loco finish him?

Kovalenko throws a front kick aimed at Loco's knee but Loco avoids it well.
Loco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kovalenko moves away.
Loco looks to throw the jab but Kovalenko is out of range.
Kovalenko seems to have got his legs back now.

Loco throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kovalenko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sloppy strikes from Loco. Those never looked like landing.

Kovalenko throws a sloppy head kick and Loco moves out of range easily.
Loco fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kovalenko manages to avoid it.
Loco wants to slow Kovalenko down by chopping away at his legs.

Loco thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kovalenko misses with a kick to the body.
Loco looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kovalenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Loco throws a jab when Kovalenko was well out of range.
As Loco looks to move away, Kovalenko throws a big counter combo but Loco just gets out of the way.

Loco lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Kovalenko is looking to close the distance but Loco sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Kovalenko crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Kovalenko is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Dustup throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harlamov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dustup's waist but Dustup gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harlamov off to one side.
Dustup defending well as Harlamov loads up on a big left hand.
Harlamov looks for a takedown but Dustup sprawls well.
Dustup bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Harlamov's head backwards.
Dustup throws a left and a right that both miss

and Harlamov counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dustup is trying to control but can't.
Harlamov winds up and cracks Dustup with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Dustup felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Harlamov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Harlamov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dustup doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harlamov.
Dustup has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harlamov is working away from the top position though.
We've been hearing that Harlamov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
