A big right from Diaz misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gregorio darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Diaz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gregorio stacks Diaz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gregorio!

Macellaio cracks Diaz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Macellaio has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Diaz to stand back up!

Diaz drops his hands momentarily. Macellaio doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Diaz staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Diaz doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

A less than humble Giovanni Macellaio misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
