The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kot shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Button napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Button is being controlled here.
Button tries to escape but Kot is in control.
A lull in the action here.
Kot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Kot tries to move to mount but Button blocks the move with his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kot lands a decent elbow from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arek Kot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kot throws a series of strikes that have Button backpedaling.
Button shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kot as he jumps to the side.
Kot takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Button tries to clinch up but Kot circles away and keeps his distance.

Kot is working Button over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Kot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Button has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kot has managed to get both his arms back between Button's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well Kot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Nice takedown defense from Norka. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.

Norka tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gracie avoids it.
Gracie will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Norka up against the cage.
Gracie has had enough of the clinch but Norka keeps him there for the moment.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Norka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Norka has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gracie after a bit of a struggle.
Gracie wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Crazki on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Red throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Crazki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Red defends it easily.

Red is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Crazki has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Red is looking to defend but Crazki has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Red! Crazki pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Red taps out and this one is all over!

Accord is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brown pulls him back up using the underhooks.

A head punch on the inside from Brown fails to land.

Accord has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Brown is on him like a limpet, forcing Accord back against the cage.

Brown drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Accord dives on top into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Accord closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Accord pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Accord swats away the attempt to clinch by Brown.
Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Accords jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Protheus Accord is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Brown lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brown.

Crazki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Katzer tries to avoid it but Crazki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Katzer to the ground. Katzer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Crazki shoots in for a double leg but Katzer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jim Katzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Crazki.
Crazki fails in his attempt to clinch.

Katzer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
