Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rashid Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Pulse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magomedov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chris Brown - See You Again Feat. Tyga & Wiz Khalifa. Sonnen has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Naga-Wing is on him like a limpet, forcing Sonnen back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sonnen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Naga-Wing is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sonnen to the mat. Sonnen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Sonnen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Naga-Wing's guard.

Naga-Wing looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sonnen has picked Naga-Wing up and slammed him! Naga-Wing can't keep hold of the triangle and Sonnen manages to pass to side control!

Sonnen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Naga-Wing is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Naga-Wing manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Putin fails to land with a series of punches.
Ferdum connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Putin's hands.
Ferdum pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Putin jabs Ferdum to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Putin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Putin attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

We've been hearing reports that Ferdum has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Putin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Putin has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ferdum is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ferdum was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ferdum throws a series of punches but Putin avoids them all with ease.
Ferdum takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Putin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Oh Ferdum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ferdum is breathing heavily.
Ferdum loses concentration momentarily and Putin pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Ferdum crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Putin finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Beast Putin!
After the fight, Beast Putin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
