3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jiri Necas! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Necas clinches. Kid trying to stall but Necas improves his position.
Necas is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kid is pushing Necas up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Kid leaning against his opponent.

Necas has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Necas takes the fight into the clinch. Kid is trying to stall.

Necas tries to bum rush Kid with a series of wild strikes but Kid uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kid keeps Necas at a distance using the push kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Jiri Necas has been cut. Karate Kid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Necas throws out a leg kick but Kid moves out of range and Necas only half commits. Kid tries to clinch up but Necas circles away and keeps his distance. Kid looks to land a combination but Necas avoids it well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Necas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kid as Necas tries to tie him up. Kid breaks from the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Karate Kid will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jiri Necas's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Kid checks a low kick from Necas. Nice shot by Kid. Kid scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Necas doesn't seem bothered though. Necas has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kid. Necas fails with an attempt to clinch.

No joy there for Kid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Necas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Necas swats away the attempt to clinch by Kid. Necas throws a series of punches but Kid moves out of range. Necas forces Kid back against the ropes and clinches. Kid breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kippax is looking to counter the offense by Azevedo and move into the clinch. Nice body kick from Azevedo. Azevedo rushes Kippax and presses him up against the ropes. Kippax tries to break free but Azevedo pushes him back against the ropes. Azevedo breaks the clinch.
Kippax tries to clinch up. Azevedo takes the fight into the clinch. Azevedo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick by Kippax misses and Azevedo makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kippax really felt that one! Azevedo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Azevedo as Kippax tries to tie him up. Kippax trying to stall but Azevedo improves his position.

Azevedo lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Kippax goes down! The ref sends Azevedo to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Kippax is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kippax missing with a left hand there. Azevedo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kippax clinches with his opponent.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Still in the clinch, Puppy scores with a nice short uppercut. Dunham seems to have got his legs back now. Puppy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dunham throws out the jab. Dunham misses with a hook. Dunham chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Puppy can pounce on him.

Dunham walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Puppy blocks a jab. Puppy lands a leg kick that knocks Dunham off balance momentarily. Puppy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Puppy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Puppy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dunham's head. Puppy catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Dunham stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Dunham walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dunham throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dunham just misses with a punch to the body.
Puppy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Puppy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunham stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Puppy. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Puppy.
Puppy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Puppy connects with a body shot. A telegraphed right hand from Dunham misses the target. Puppy misses with a wild body shot. Puppy cracks Dunham with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Puppy darts in and clinches Dunham up against the ropes. Puppy lands a nice uppercut. Puppy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Puppy slips under a jab from Dunham. Puppy darts in and clinches Dunham up against the ropes. Dunham tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunham blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Puppy gets through Dunham's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Puppy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sick Puppy takes that one, thanks to the knockdown. The cut man is working on Walter Dunham's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

It looks like Charles LaFontier has been cut. LaFontier with a nice cross. LaFontier catches Okninski napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Okninski crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! LaFontier raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
