4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyoshi Sakei! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finley tries to clinch there but Sakei circles away.
Sakei circles away from the clinch attempt.
Finley digs a good body shot into Sakei's ribs. Finley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick by Finley misses and Sakei decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Finley's guard. Sakei landing with the ground and pound. Sakei drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sakei seems to have locked his on tight now - Finley screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sakei, as he picks up the win!

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Lee! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick there by Kane. Kane misses with a body kick. Lee is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lee gets a clinch. Kane keeps control of Lee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kane lands a takedown into guard.
Kane looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kane with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee wants to sweep but no luck. Kane has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee is adopting a defensive guard.

Kane has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position. Kane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kane has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Lee sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kane trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lee stands and throws Kane's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lee remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kane is looking to regain half guard here but Lee keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lee trying to control the position but Kane is working away. Kane wants to control but Lee postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee trying to control the position but Kane is working away. Lee controlling the position. Kane is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kane struggling a bit here. Lee trying to control the position but Kane is working away. Kane is holding Lee down, trying to stall. Kane is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lee off and has taken his back! Kane landing with strikes. Kane lands with a hammerfist to the side of Lee's head. Kane lands shots from the back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lee just trying to survive but Kane is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Kane landing with strikes. Kane lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Lee hold on?!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kane works Lee's body with a nice hook. A low kick from Lee is predictable there and Kane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kane. Lee is pulling down on Kane's head. It's preventing any offense from Kane, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane stands up over Lee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lee is trying to control the position but Kane postures up. Lee looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kane working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kane's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kane preventing the sweep. Kane with a flurry of punches that miss. Kane lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Lee looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kane is posturing up here but Lee has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kane tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kane has to tap! Slick submission there by Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farofa listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Farofa moves into the clinch successfully.
Farofa is trying to break the clinch but Embernate is controlling him. Farofa is trying to push Embernate away but Embernate has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Farofa tries to land knees in the clinch but Embernate avoids the damage to the body. Farofa missing with knees to the body.
Embernate escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carlos Farofa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Farofa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Embernate defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Farofa. No joy there for Farofa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Farofa tries to close the distance and clinch but Embernate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Embernate feints the counter takedown. Farofa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Embernate shoots in looking for a takedown. Farofa tries to sprawl out of it but Embernate keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Farofa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Farofa shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Farofa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Farofa shoots in looking for a takedown but Embernate manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Farofa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Embernate counters with a body kick. Farofa throws an overhand right that lands on Embernate's shoulder, as Embernate tries to avoid the shot. A countering left hand to the body from Embernate misses. Farofa misses with a combination
and Embernate moves into the clinch. Embernate pulls guard successfully.

Farofa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Embernate defends well and Farofa ends up having to push Embernate into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's four minutes gone in the round. Embernate throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. This has been an exciting period of action! Embernate scoring with punches from side control. Farofa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Embernate on the ground. Embernate lands a decent elbow from side control. Farofa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Farofa tries to get out of the position. Embernate cracks Farofa with a big elbow. Embernate lands a few punches from side control. Embernate scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Farofa to see if he's OK.
Farofa is rocked! Embernate in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Farofa looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Embernate turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Cranial throws a hook but Silva blocks it. Cranial pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cranial fails to land with a series of punches.

and Silva counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Cranial fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Silva controls the position. Cranial is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Silva is controlling him well. Cranial has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva has control of an arm but Cranial manages to advance to Silva's back! Silva breaks Cranial's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

He's persisting with it as Cranial sprawls well. Cranial wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet. Cranial drops Silva with a big left hand and mounts him. Silva is in big trouble!

Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Cranial sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cranial is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva. As Cranial backs off Silva throws a huge counter combo but Cranial manages to avoid it all. Cranial throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cranial sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat. Nice defenses there by Silva. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab by Cranial. Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cranial defends it nicely. Von Cranial has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sandor Silva. Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Silva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Silva circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Cranial. Silva falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Cranial!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Miyagi. Miyagi just content to control the position. Miyagi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by bk, who protects the arm well. Miyagi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The referee asks Miyagi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Miyagi prefers to stall for the moment though. bk tries to improve position but can't. Miyagi just content to control the position. bk is not content to let Miyagi control the position. bk told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. bk is looking for a sweep.

Miyagi is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt bk will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. bk stops Miyagi from passing to mount. bk tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miyagi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A lull in the action here as Miyagi stalls from top position. bk manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Miyagi tries to roll over but bk keeps him under control. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. bk thows a huge punch but Miyagi dodges it nicely.

Miyagi gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. bk doesn't seem too bothered but Miyagi quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! bk is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! bk really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Lazer clinches up with Alves and pushes him back against the cage. Lazer blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lazer pulls guard effortlessly. Lazer is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lazer keeping moving, preventing Alves from controlling successfully. Alves throws an elbow that misses. Lazer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Alves's guard. Alves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lazer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lazer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lazer throws a big elbow that misses. Alves wants to stand up but Lazer is controlling him. Alves preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lazer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Lazer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Alves wants to stand up but Lazer is controlling him. Lazer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Lazer wants to pass the guard but Alves is keeping the position. Lazer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Alves's head.
Alves is rocked! Lazer gets to his feet and stands over Alves, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Alves felt that one! Lazer unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Alves from any more punishment!

Newton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Newton with a flurry of punches that miss. Newton drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Schwarzeneg dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schwarzeneg is one step ahead there. Schwarzeneg wants to control from the top but Newton keeps moving. Schwarzeneg keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Newton's head. Newton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Newton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schwarzeneg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Schwarzeneg gets to his feet. Newton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Schwarzeneg tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Newton paws at him with a jab and circles away. Schwarzeneg tries to clinch up. Schwarzeneg lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Schwarzeneg. Newton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Schwarzeneg. Newton swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Newton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Newton lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Schwarzeneg has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Schwarzeneg and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Schwarzeneg tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Newton defends well and Schwarzeneg ends up having to push Newton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Schwarzeneg blocks a low kick nicely. Newton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Newton dips to his left and cracks Schwarzeneg with an uppercut! Schwarzeneg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Schwarzeneg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Veli Schwarzeneg has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Schwarzeneg takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Schwarzeneg wants to clinch up but Newton keeps it at a distance. Schwarzeneg throws a lazy head kick and Newton counters with a series of strikes. Schwarzeneg will be more careful next time no doubt.
And that's the end of the fight! Christopher Newton showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Newton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Metsa Aff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 55 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Hall! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aff keeps Hall at a distance using the push kick. Hall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Aff on the side of the head. Aff delivers a nice body kick. A big right from Hall misses. Hall takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Aff walks into a jab. Hall clobbers Aff with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Aff has taken the fight to the clinch.
