The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Heras.
Tumenov is trying to get back to half guard.
Heras throws a strike aimed at the side of Tumenov's head but Tumenov avoids it well.
Tumenov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Heras wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Tumenov parries the strikes from Heras easily there. Heras is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tumenov to escape.
Heras creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tumenov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tumenov is trying to control Heras's posture but Heras avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tumenov is looking to reverse the position.
Tumenov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Heras. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Heras happy to just control the position for now.
Heras is breathing heavily.

Tumenov tries to bench press Heras off him but Heras keeps the position.
Tumenov manages to get back to half guard.

Tumenov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Heras. Oh but Tumenov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Heras goes limp - he's gone! Tumenov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters dives in and grabs Lauderdale's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lauderdale pushes down on Masters's head and hops out.

Lauderdale manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Masters on his heels. He'll look to pass Masters's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Masters wants to pass the guard but Lauderdale is keeping the position.

Masters is working for a rear naked choke. Lauderdale is not defending it well and Masters has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lauderdale refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lauderdale's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Calmuschi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nechvidov.
Nechvidov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Calmuschi but Calmuschi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Good standup being displayed there by Calmuschi as he connects with a hook.
Calmuschi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Calmuschi works over Nechvidov's head and body with a nice combination.
Nechvidov takes one to the side of the head.

Calmuschi lands a big head kick that sends Nechvidov tumbling to the mat! Calmuschi takes a step backwards and waves Nechvidov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lovelair is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cluggins throws a hook to the side of Lovelair's head but Lovelair sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lovelair has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cluggins uses from the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lovelair can do anything to dispel that myth.

Barak wants to free his trapped foot but Bbris is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Barak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bbris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Barak is pressing down on Bbris's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bbris is holding on for now.
Barak thows a huge punch but Bbris dodges it nicely.
Barak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tyme dips a shoulder and cracks Donkashane with a mighty uppercut! Donkashane falls back against the cage and Tyme unloads with a barrage of strikes! Donkashane is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tyme screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Tyme!
