1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nakamura Minskiy! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Minskiy misses with a body kick. Lee was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Minskiy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lee dodges the punch combination from Minskiy.
Lee throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Minskiy's head. Lee looks low and kicks high, catching Minskiy right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
It looks like Nakamura Minskiy has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Minskiy blocks a head kick by Lee.

Minskiy walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Lee and drops face first to the floor! Minskiy's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Minskiy in no position to continue!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Growler shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Growler looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Growler throws a head kick but Butcher moves out of range.
Growler scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Butcher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Growler was well out of range. Poor timing from Butcher. Greg Growler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Growler misses with a left hand and Butcher counters with a lovely straight right hand! Growler pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Butcher moves into the clinch successfully.
Butcher taking a breather. Butcher keeps control of Growler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butcher goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Come on Butcher - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's one minute gone in the round. Butcher lands a left hand that snaps the head of Growler backwards. A shot in the inside from Butcher. Butcher manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The referee is keeping an eye on Butcher - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Butcher continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Butcher looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Growler wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Butcher has him pressed against the ropes. Growler wants to break free but Butcher has control.
Butcher presses Growler against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Butcher working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Butcher keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Growler's efforts to push away. Both guys are working to get underhooks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Butcher swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A little jabbing left from Butcher on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Growler gets tackled into the ropes by Butcher. Butcher maintains the clinch. Butcher tries to work over Growler's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Growler misses with a body punch.

Butcher is pushing Growler up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Butcher receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Growler breaks from the clinch.
Growler swats away the attempt to clinch by Butcher. Butcher throws a hook but Growler avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Butcher darts in and clinches Growler up against the ropes. Butcher taking a breather. Growler tries to break the clinch but Butcher is controlling the position. Growler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A head kick misses from Butcher. A nice inside leg kick there by Growler. That's going to slow Butcher down. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Butcher moves out of range as Growler strikes. Butcher lands with a right hand. Growler chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Butcher tries to close the distance and clinch but Growler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Growler darts in and out, connecting with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Greg Growler will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Butcher.

Butcher swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Butcher uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Growler. Butcher blocks a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butcher tries to clinch but Growler moves out of range. Growler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Butcher sees it coming and avoids it easily. Growler throws the kick towards the body but Butcher avoids it. Growler throws a leg kick but Butcher sees it coming and moves out of range. Growler misses the shot to the body. Butcher connects with a high kick.

Butcher is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Growler is keeping busy. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Butcher misses with a punch to the body.
Growler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Growler on the wrong end of a nice jab. Growler misses with a low kick. Growler lands a nice leg kick that just misses Butcher's sensitive parts. Growler takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Butcher's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Butcher duly obliges. Growler delivers a nice body kick. Butcher looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Butcher cracks Growler with a right hand to the side of the head. Butcher checks the leg kick nicely there.
Butcher takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Butcher has closed the distance and engaged Growler in a clinch.

It seemed like Butcher was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

This has been an exciting period of action! Butcher lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A telegraphed right hand from Growler misses the target. Butcher keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Growler. Butcher looks like he wants to counter punch here. Growler throws a nice outside leg kick. Butcher tries to close the distance and clinch but Growler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Growler misses with an attempted mid kick.
Growler throws an overhand right that lands on Butcher's shoulder, as Butcher tries to avoid the shot. Butcher doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Growler walks forward, straight into a front kick from Butcher. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Growler throws a jab but it's blocked by Butcher. Butcher was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Butcher lands a nice shot that snaps Growler's head back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A leg kick checked by Butcher. Growler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Butcher manages to avoid it. Butcher wants to counter with a clinch but Growler pushes him away. Billy Butcher is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Butcher closes the distance and pushes Growler back into the ropes. Growler wants to get back to striking at distance but Butcher won't allow it.

Butcher is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Butcher creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Growler misses with an uppercut. Butcher is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Butcher cracks Growler with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ozturk feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Penn's calf. Ozturk throws a body kick that misses letting Penn counter with a right hand. Ozturk cracks the inside of Penn's front leg. We've been informed that Penn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Penn tries to clinch but Ozturk moves out of range. Penn throws a sloppy head kick and Ozturk moves out of range easily. Good shot there by Penn. Penn throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Penn checks a low kick from Ozturk. Penn throws an ugly left hook that misses

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ozturk here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. A punch lands to the side of Penn 's head but he takes it in his stride. It looks like Ozturk has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Penn throws a right and a left that both miss. Penn blocks a low kick nicely. Penn misses with a wild body shot. Penn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
