The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jovi keeps the fight on the outside. Jovi doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Jolly takes the fight into the clinch. Jovi manages to break the clinch.
Jovi connects with a nice looking jab.
Jolly wants to clinch up but Jovi keeps it at a distance. Jolly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jovi as he avoids it easily. A little jabbing left from Jovi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jolly is looking to clinch but Jovi is avoiding it.
Jovi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Jovi misses with a straight right. Good standup being displayed there by Jovi as he connects with a hook. Jolly drops his hands momentarily and Jovi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Jolly gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jovi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. No luck for Jolly with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Jolly. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jolly tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jovi counters with a stiff right hand. Jovi connects with a body shot that sends Jolly's belly button to the back. Jolly shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jovi as he jumps to the side. Jolly walks into a left hand.

Jovi lands with a right hand. Jovi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jolly with a poor takedown and Jovi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jolly shoots and misses and Jovi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jolly is breathing heavily. Jovi works Jolly's body with a nice hook. Jolly takes one to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jovi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A decent looking cross lands there for Jovi. Jovi throws a monster overhand right that drops Jolly! Jovi follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

A less than humble Jonathan Jovi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thomas.
Thomas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fight moves into the clinch position. Thomas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Thomas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith. Thomas scores with a decent looking hook. Thomas misses with an uppercut. Smith saw that one coming. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peso closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Peso takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. My spies in Thirteenth Legion MMA inform me that Peso has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Sandow taking some punishment here, with Peso in his half guard. Sandow looking for submissions off his back. Peso looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Peso seems to be looking for submissions.

Peso doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Peso manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Peso lands a couple of elbows. Sandow seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Peso trying to control the position from guard on top but Sandow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peso keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sandow's head. Peso content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sandow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Peso lands a big elbow - Sandow is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Peso!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitzgerald scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Fitzgerald throws a leg kick but Drake sees it coming and checks it nicely. A left and a right from Fitzgerald both land. Nice combination. Drake uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fitzgerald has time to react. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drake is defended easily by Fitzgerald. Drake ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fitzgerald is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drake. Fitzgerald throws a head kick but Drake moves out of range.

Fitzgerald really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Drake closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fitzgerald circles away.

Drake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fitzgerald moves away. Fitzgerald tries to counter with a takedown but Drake is quick to defend against it. A swing and a miss from Fitzgerald. Drake blocks a head kick by Fitzgerald.
Drake decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Drake is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Fitzgerald is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hurmaaja swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gracie. Hurmaaja closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hurmaaja lands in his opponent's guard. Hurmaaja won't allow Gracie to sweep him here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hurmaaja's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hurmaaja scoring with some ground and pound. Hurmaaja trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hurmaaja is aware though and is defending well. Hurmaaja pushing down on Gracie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hurmaaja performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hurmaaja works his way into side control. Gracie is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie struggling a bit here. Hurmaaja lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Gracie wants to control but Hurmaaja postures up. Gracie is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hurmaaja connects with a decent elbow. Gracie is not in a great position here, taking some shots. A big shot lands for Hurmaaja! That's hurt Gracie! Will he recover? Hurmaaja fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Holliday looks to score with a jab to the body but Rammhammer is just out of range. It looked like Rammhammer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Holliday. Rammhammer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Holliday misses with a lunging right hand
and Rammhammer counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rammhammer connects with a single shot there. Holliday misses with a right hand letting Rammhammer counter with a right hand. Rammhammer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Holliday misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rammhammer.
Rammhammer scores with a jab to the body. Holliday connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rammhammer's hands. Rammhammer throws a jab but it's blocked by Holliday. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rammhammer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rammhammer's corner calls for a 1-2. Rammhammer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Holliday takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rammhammer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Holliday.

Harry Holliday decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lazaro avoids it really well and circles away. Tow has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lazaro finds it's way round the side to connect with Tow's head. Tow fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tow seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Lazaro keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Tow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tow shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A nice side step and Lazaro releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Tow fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tow dives in and grabs Lazaro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lazaro pushes down on Tow's head and hops out. Tow shoots in for a double leg but Lazaro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lazaro's waist but Lazaro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tow off to one side. Tow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lazaro sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tow fails with the takedown. Lazaro swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tow is breathing heavily. Tow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lazaro is fending him off so far but Tow persists. Nope, Lazaro circles away and we're back to standing. Lazaro doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Lazaro jabs Tow right on the nose. Tow blinks but takes it well.

Tow fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lazaro lands a nice hook to Tow's body. Tow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lazaro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lazaro ducks down and throws a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Lazaro lands a big uppercut and Tow crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tow looks OK. Lazaro waves Tow back to his feet!

Big Tow's cut is getting worse. Lazaro stuns Tow with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Oh Tow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lazaro dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Tow tries to get into range but Lazaro steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Tow! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Lazaro scores the big KO victory!

It looked like Belle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Elasor on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Elasor is rocked! Elasor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Belle finds Elasor's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Elasor flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Belle lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Elasor will be OK.
