Kuznetsov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Wilson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wilson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Wilson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kuznetsov doesn't defend quickly enough and Wilson has managed to lock this one up! Can Kuznetsov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Wilson on a fantastic submission victory.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Novoselic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alexou doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alexou manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alexou has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Novoselic to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Alexou is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Novoselic pulls down on the head and he's put Alexou to sleep! This one is all over!

Lee shoots for a takedown but Carrasco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee misses with a wild combination.
Carrasco on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Carrasco has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Carrasco wants the takedown. Lee is fighting it off but Carrasco persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lee's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Shinra tries to clinch up but Wick circles away and keeps his distance.

Wick lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Tanuki Shinra has been cut.
Wick tests Shinra's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Shinra pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wick is out of range and Shinra settles back down.
Wick throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shinra on the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wick ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shinra throws out the jab.
Shinra wants to clinch.

Wick clinches with his opponent.
Shinra tries to land a knee to the head but Wick blocks with his arms.

Wick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Wick has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Shinra clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wick controls the action.

Shinra is trying to defend against the choke here but Wick has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Wick Tightens the hold and Shinra taps out furiously! Wick displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Mamba forces Guedes back against the cage and clinches.
Mamba is trying to push Guedes away but Guedes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Guedes stops a takedown attempt from Mamba.
A right hand to the body from Guedes.
Mamba is breathing heavily.
Guedes lands a nice uppercut.
A right handed body shot lands from Guedes.

Guedes lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mamba or not.
Guedes can't find room to land a body shot as Mamba controls the action.
Mamba tries to pull guard but Guedes holds him up against the cage and eventually Mamba drops back down to his feet.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Guedes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Guedes dips a shoulder and cracks Mamba with a mighty uppercut! Mamba falls back against the cage and Guedes unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mamba is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Guedes screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Groenveld's coach down at Wolves Den $200 Elite Circuits was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Groenveld's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

After the fight, Vova Klimov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
