0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charlie Foxtrot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlos Marxixio! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marxixio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Foxtrot tries to counter by clinching up but Marxixio breaks away and moves out of range. Foxtrot is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Marxixio's half guard. Marxixio is looking to control Foxtrot's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Marxixio avoid being mounted? Foxtrot is working for a kimura but Marxixio is defending it quite comfortably.
Foxtrot moves into full mount! Marxixio won't be happy about that! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marxixio keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Foxtrot misses with a head shot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marxixio holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Foxtrot tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foxtrot looking to control but Marxixio is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Marxixio is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Foxtrot locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Marxixio is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Stone takes a shot right to the bread basket. Bannessi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A left and a right from Bannessi both land. Nice combination. Bannessi falls off balance throwing a combination
and The Stone moves into the clinch. Bannessi is trying to push The Stone away but The Stone has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bannessi tries to break the clinch but The Stone is controlling the position. The Stone breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Bannessi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The Stone shoots in but no luck this time. The Stone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bannessi but Bannessi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sloppy strikes from Bannessi. Those never looked like landing. It looked like The Stone was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. The Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Stone tries to pass to full mount but Bannessi defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Stone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bannessi defends it well. The Stone throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bannessi tries to kick The Stone off but The Stone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The Stone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bannessi is staying active underneath The Stone, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The Stone looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The Stone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bannessi keeps working. The Stone is taking a breather. Bannessi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The Stone decides to return to a standing position. Bannessi throws a right and a left that both miss. Bannessi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Stone circles away quickly and effectively. The Stone shoots in but Bannessi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bannessi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bannessi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Stone dives in and grabs Bannessi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bannessi pushes down on The Stone's head and hops out. The Stone darts in and clinches Bannessi up against the cage. The Stone is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. The Stone keeps control of Bannessi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The Stone shoots for a takedown but Bannessi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Stone looks for a takedown but Bannessi sprawls well. The Stone fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bannessi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The Stone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sloppy strikes from Bannessi. Those never looked like landing. Nice sprawl there from Bannessi as The Stone shoots in. Bannessi scores with a one two! The Stone had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Bannessi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing The Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bannessi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Uppercuts and crosses smash into The Stone's face. The Stone staggers backwards, shaken. The Stone is looking to clinch. Bannessi lands a body shot.

Bannessi dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bannessi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The Stone looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. This has been an exciting period of action! The Stone shoots in for a double leg but Bannessi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bannessi stuns The Stone with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bannessi scores with a jab to the jaw. The Stone fails with a takedown attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith jabs Mushimo to the body, keeping him at a distance. Smith bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Mushimo! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Smith trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mushimo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mushimo has his feet on Smith's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Smith darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Smith tries to keep at a distance but Mushimo has taken the fight into the clinch. Mushimo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mushimo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Smith lands with a cross. Mushimo ducks straight into an uppercut from Smith and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Mushimo manages to regain guard straight away.
Mushimo is rocked! Smith has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Smith trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Mushimo manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Oh Mushimo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mushimo trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom. Mushimo seems to have got his legs back now. Smith wants to sweep but no luck. Mushimo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mushimo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mushimo throwing strikes from guard but Smith blocks nicely. Mushimo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mushimo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard. Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mushimo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mushimo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mushimo with a flurry of punches that miss. Mushimo wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving. Mushimo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mushimo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A chopping leg kick lands by Mushimo. Mushimo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mushimo avoids the body shot from Smith.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Smith misses with a body shot.
Smith lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Smith cracks Mushimo with a right hand to the side of the head. Smith cracks a nice hook into Mushimo's ribs. Mushimo forces Smith back against the cage and clinches. Mushimo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Mushimo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Smith has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Smith works the jab nicely. Kiko Mushimo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mushimo takes the fight into the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mushimo with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Smith punishes Mushimo's body with a nice straight punch. Smith drops Mushimo with a big left hand and mounts him. Mushimo is in big trouble! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Smith looking to finish with strikes here!
Mushimo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith unloads with some shots from mount but Mushimo bucks and avoids them well.

Smith wants to stand and escape but instead Mushimo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Mushimo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Smith keeping full guard, as Mushimo tries to pass. Mushimo trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Smith wants to control the position but Mushimo says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Mushimo misses with a head shot. Smith uses the momentum to regain guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shimit clinches up against the cage. Shimit lands a body punch in the clinch. Shimit keeps control of Blanchard as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Blanchard lands a hook to the side of the head. Shimit breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shimit lands a nice hook to Blanchard's body. Blanchard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Blanchard shoots in but Shimit avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mei takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mei lands a nice short elbow. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mei throws a jab but it's blocked by Mike. Mei swings away with a leg kick that misses. Mike swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Mei shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mike's guard. Mei wants to control from the top but Mike keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mei working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mike tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mei scoring with punches to the head and body. Mei passes Mike's left leg - he's now in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mei thows a huge punch but Mike dodges it nicely.
Mei frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mei controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pei Mei showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

He has the arm isolated but Mike is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pei Mei has got the better of the ground game so far. Mei wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mike, who protects the arm well. Mei misses with an attempted head punch from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mei lands a few punches from side control.

Mei bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mike's guard. Mei throws a strike but Mike rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mei is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Mike wants to control from the top but Mei keeps moving. Mei wants to sweep here but Mike controlling him for the moment. Josh Mike has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mei takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mike wants to control from the top but Mei keeps moving.

Mike throws a strike but Mei rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mei looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Mei advances position into side control! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takeshi Saitou! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Etiene Salire! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saitou shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Salire as he avoids it easily. Salire feints the counter takedown. Salire gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Saitou. Saitou's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight moves into the clinch position. Saitou leaning his opponent against the cage. Saitou's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Salire chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Saitou can pounce on him.
Salire rushes Saitou and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saitou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Saitou gets caught flat footed, as Salire shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Saitou is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Salire presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Saitou tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Saitou lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salire blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A head punch blocked on the inside by Salire. Salire tries to pull guard but Saitou forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Saitou with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Salire decides to pull guard. Saitou stands up and waves to Salire to follow him. Salire shoots for a double leg takedown but Saitou sprawls well. He's pushed Salire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Salire fails with a takedown attempt. Takeshi Saitou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Etiene Salire. Salire closes the distance and clinches. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Saitou just misses with a elbow thrown towards Salire's brow. Saitou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

As Salire tries to get set, Saitou tries to push him back and clinch up but Salire manages to avoid the attempt. Salire fails with an attempt to clinch.
Saitou has closed the distance and engaged Salire in a clinch.
Salire tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Saitou's elbow. Saitou gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Salire.
Saitou escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salire jumps guard.
Saitou tries to free his leg and advance position but Salire is retaining full guard. Saitou has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Salire to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Saitou is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Salire pulls down on the head and he's put Saitou to sleep! This one is all over!
