Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cliff Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Kondyt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Cliff Paul has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cliff Paul seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cliff Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Christian Kondyt! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kondyt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paul. Paul looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kondyt misses with the combination.
Kondyt dodges the punch combination from Paul.
Kondyt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kondyt avoids a punch combination nicely.

Kondyt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paul. Kondyt scores with a crisp jab that stopped Paul in his tracks. Kondyt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kondyt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kondyt ducks under a wild hook from Paul. Paul missing with a left hand there. Kondyt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kondyt lands the left hand. Cliff Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kondyt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Paul swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kondyt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Paul swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Paul with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kondyt to score with a decent uppercut. Kondyt throws a lazy right hand but Paul sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Paul throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch combination from Paul misses. Kondyt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Paul. Donk. Kondyt catches Paul right on the button with a cross. Paul lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Christian Kondyt has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paul looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Paul is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kondyt's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Paul ducks right into an uppercut from Kondyt. Paul tries to bum rush Kondyt with a series of wild strikes but Kondyt uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Paul pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kondyt back to the cage. Paul follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Kondyt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paul was well out of range. Poor timing from Kondyt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kondyt moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Good standup being displayed there by Kondyt as he connects with a hook. Kondyt slips under a jab. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Paul misses the jab. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kondyt! But no joy. Left hook, right uppercut from Kondyt. The crowd cheers as Paul lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kondyt doesn't seem phased though. Paul misses with a few strikes there.

Nice body punch from Kondyt. Kondyt clobbers Paul with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kondyt throws a one two combo.

Paul on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kondyt walks into a stiff left hand from Paul. Kondyt lands a nice shot to the body.
Good shot there by Kondyt. A combination from Paul does no damage. Kondyt is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Kondyt misses with a double jab.
Paul went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Paul throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Paul throws a series of punches but Kondyt moves out of range. As Paul backs off Kondyt throws a huge counter combo but Paul manages to avoid it all. Paul is breathing heavily. Paul showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kondyt.
Paul throws a hook but Kondyt blocks it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Paul takes a shot right to the bread basket. Paul throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Paul swings widly with a right hand
and Kondyt counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kondyt has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kondyt slips a straight right by Paul.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kondyt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kondyt works over Paul's head and body with a nice combination. Kondyt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kondyt. Paul throws a series of punches but Kondyt moves out of range. Kondyt ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Paul pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Paul with a hook. Paul misses with a wild combination.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kondyt. Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kondyt connects with a body shot that sends Paul's belly button to the back. Kondyt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Paul. Kondyt misses with a double jab.
Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kondyt obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Paul pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kondyt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Paul.
Paul lands a left and a right that send Kondyt crashing to the mat, dazed. Paul thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kondyt is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Paul swinging wildly here.
Kondyt is still on wobbly legs! Can Paul finish him? Kondyt throws a shot to the body.
Paul looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Kondyt lands a body shot.
Paul bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Paul throws a big shot that misses. Kondyt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Paul cracks Kondyt with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kondyt tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Paul pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kondyt is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ray throws a counter combo. Brown looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Ray clinches up against the cage. Brown wants a takedown but no success here.
Brown drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ray has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ray content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Ray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Brown is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ray sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ray swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ray has managed to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brown is fighting to break Ray's control of his arms but Ray is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Ray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there. Ray looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ray is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ray escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ray is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Ray jumps guard but Brown turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Ray pushes off an throws an elbow but Brown leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Ray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ray clinches. Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brown tries to keep at a distance but Ray has taken the fight into the clinch. Ray jumps guard and drags Brown to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Ray pushes Brown off and gets back to his feet.

Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ray moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ray tries to counter by closing the distance. Ray throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ray instigates a clinch. Brown is pressed up against the cage. Ray has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. We've been informed that Ray has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Ray drives through and clinches with Brown against the cage.
Ray working some nice short punches in the clinch. Ray ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ray no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Brown trying to control but Ray is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown looking to sit in guard and control but Ray gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ray throws a big elbow that misses. Ray gets to his feet - Brown follows without any prompting. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ray pushes Brown up against the cage in a clinch. Ray wants a takedown but no success here.

Brown staggers backwards, shaken. Ray fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown, pushing him back against the cage. Ray leaning against his opponent.

Ray fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ray is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
A punch combination from Brown misses. Ray throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ray has managed to clinch.

Brown changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brown throws a right hand that Ray ducks under and follows up with a left that Ray also avoids with ease. Brown throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brown leaves Ray with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ray closes the distance and pushes Brown back into the cage. Brown tries for a takedown. No joy.

And that's the end of the fight! Robbie Ray comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ray has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darrow pushes Harris up against the cage in a clinch. Darrow lands a left hand.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Darrow just misses with a elbow thrown towards Harris's brow. Harris leaning his opponent against the cage. Darrow presses Harris against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Harris taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Hamish Darrow will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. That kick from Darrow tenderised Harris's leg. Harris is trying to keep his angry face on. Darrow closes the distance and clinches. Harris has hold of one of Darrow's legs. Darrow is fighting the takedown attempt but Harris gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Harris thuds his right hand into Darrow's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Darrow here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Darrow punishes Harris's body with a nice straight punch. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Darrow lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Harris has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Harris and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Harris is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Harris sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
