Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Ruttenum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruttenum has chosen Bugzy Malone- Zombie Riddim as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruttenum feints and as Diaz raises his hands in defense, Ruttenum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Diaz controls Ruttenum momentarily but Ruttenum frees himself.
Ruttenum works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Diaz is in trouble now - Ruttenum has advanced to mount!
Diaz is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Ruttenum cracks Diaz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Diaz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ruttenum won't let Diaz get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diaz turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ruttenum off and cradles Diaz's limp body as Ruttenum celebrates with his corner.

A very excited looking Conor Ruttenum rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Bagheri 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Henley steps into range and cracks Bagheri with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Bagheri flops backwards and Henley dives into his guard looking to finish!
