![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knope uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Santos. A little jabbing left from Knope on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Santos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Santos grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Knope takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Santos cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Junior Dos Santos! A very excited looking Junior Dos Santos made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
