The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arias tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ragnarson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Arias throws a sloppy head kick
and Ragnarson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A low kick from Arias misses
and Ragnarson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Rhyan Arias has been cut.
Arias closes the distance but Ragnarson moves to the side

and Ragnarson counters with a crisp one two that drops Arias! Ragnarson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Arias to his feet! Arias is in big trouble!

Arias is rocked!
Arias throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Ragnarson counters with a left right combination that sends Arias crashing to the mat - Ragnarson wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Arias out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Holt.
Holt scores with a nice head shot.
Tran wants to clinch.
A left lands for Holt.
Jab, jab by Holt - just one landing.
Tran walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Holt thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holt tries to bum rush Tran with a series of wild strikes but Tran uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Despite the aggression on Tran's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Tran blocks a head kick by Holt.
Tran shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holt pinned against the cage. Holt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Holt lands a jab-cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Holt.
Tran lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Holt forces Tran back against the cage and clinches.
Holt misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Tran breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Adam Holt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tran goes for a double leg but Holt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Holt continues to drive forward.
Holt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Tran to counter with a crisp jab.

Tran moves into the clinch.
Tran tries to stall but Holt uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tran tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holt smiles and moves away.
Adam Holt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Tran.
Nice straight punches there by Holt. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Holt.
Tran shoots in for a takedown but Holt shows good takedown defense.
Holt lands a jab to the nose.

Holt closes the distance and pushes Tran back into the cage.

Holt jumps into guard, dragging Tran to the mat.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tran won't allow Holt to get back to his feet.
Holt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Holt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Holt pulls Tran in close to his closed guard and prevents Tran from doing any damage or advancing position.
Tran is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Holt is trying to control the position but Tran postures up.
Tran wants to control from the top but Holt keeps moving.
Tran must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Holt pulls Tran in to control the position.
Holt trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Holt wants to stand and escape but Tran is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Holt cracks Tran with an open hand slap.
Tran tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A counter left hand to the body from Holt misses its target.

Tran closes the distance and clinches.

Holt decides to pull guard.
Holt looking for a sweep. Not yet Holt, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Holt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tran wants to get back to full guard.
Tran is trying to maintain the position but Holt is very close to passing his half guard.

Holt escapes and gets back to his feet.

Tran blocks a head kick by Holt.
Tran throws a big counter head kick but Holt avoids it with no problem.
Holt misses with a wild combination.
As Holt backs off Tran throws a huge counter combo but Holt manages to avoid it all.
Holt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Holt looks to throw the jab but Tran is out of range.
Tran on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Holt clinches up with Tran and pushes him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holt gets through Tran's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Holt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Holt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tran throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holt's waist but Holt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tran off to one side.
Holt is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Tran counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Holt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tran backs up against the cage.
Holt lands a jab to the head.

Tran gets a clinch.

Holt jumps guard.
Tran would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Holt is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Holt throws a strike but Tran rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Tran drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tran jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Holt pushes Tran off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tran closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Holt throws a sloppy head kick and Tran moves out of range easily.
Holt comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tran looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Adam Holt is winning the standup battle so far.
Holt works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tran walks into a stiff left hand from Holt.
Adam Holt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tran gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holt tries to avoid it but Tran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holt to the ground. Holt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Adam Holt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Tran.
Tran has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Tran is rocked!
Holt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tran is still on wobbly legs! Can Holt finish him?
Holt gets in close and tags Tran with a short punch that almost sends Tran to the mat! Oh Tran is in big trouble! He turns his back on Holt, trying to create some distance but Holt rushes him, striking wildly and Tran goes down! The referee tackles Holt into the cage to end the fight! Holt is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Holt!
Our winner, Adam Holt, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Andrew Tran spoke after the fight, saying 'Well It Wasn't My Best Fight, But I Will Train Hard To Get Back In The Game And Win My Next Fight.'.

Goshen sends Lyzes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Goshen is motioning to the referee to let Lyzes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lyzes throws a hook to the side of Goshen's head but Goshen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Goshen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lyzess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Goshen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
