Kitano comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

It looks like Egil Wiik has been cut.

Kitano cracks Wiik with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kitano has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wiik to stand back up!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Du Yuesheng will probably get the nod.
