The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Badger. That snapped Rage's head back.
Rage tries to sprawl but Badger drives through with a takedown into half guard. Rage kicks Badger off and gets back to his feet. Badger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rage is fending him off so far but Badger persists. Nope, Rage circles away and we're back to standing. Badger is breathing heavily. Badger avoids the head kick by Rage.

Rage has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Badger has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Badger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Badger gets a clinch. Rage is trying to break the clinch but Badger is controlling him. Badger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rage's waist but Rage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Badger off to one side. Rage tries to counter by closing the distance. Rage shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Badger as he avoids it easily. Jack Badger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Rage. Rage takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Badger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rage circles away quickly and effectively. Rage shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Badger sprawls well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Badger ducks under a wild hook from Rage. Rage has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Badger takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Lothbrok looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Southbrook is looking for a sweep. Lothbrok is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lothbrok moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Southbrook. Southbrook is looking to reverse the position.

Southbrook is rocked! Lothbrok content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Southbrook is still in real trouble! Can Lothbrok finish him? Rollo Lothbrok overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A big shot lands for Lothbrok! That's hurt Southbrook! Will he recover? A relieved looking Rollo Lothbrok thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Saiyan Southbrook stepped up to the mic, saying 'to lose at my age is normal this guy is a good fighter
but lets bereal this punk wont ever be great but i will! '.

"Ole!" shouts Flail as he jumps to the side. A counter left hand to the body from Flail misses its target. Gilas tries to clinch but Flail moves out of range. A decent looking cross lands there for Flail. Flail is looking to slow Gilas down with leg kicks. A jab lands there for Flail. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Flail buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gilas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Flail looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Flail throws Gilas to one side and escapes! Jab, jab by Flail - just one landing. Gilas staying out of range there. Gilas shoots in looking for a takedown but Flail manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gilas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stone Flail has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernz Gilas. Gilas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Flail is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gilas dives into side control.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Gilas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gilas looking for a sweep. Not yet Gilas, not yet.

Flail raining down hammerfists from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gilas is in all sorts of trouble here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ford.
Blood drops his hands momentarily and Ford takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Ford pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ford clinches up with Blood and pushes him back against the cage. Blood drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ford pulls his leg out and moves away.
Blood moves into the clinch. Ford using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Blood has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Blood has hold of one of Ford's legs. Ford is fighting the takedown attempt but Blood gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Ford pushes Blood off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blood takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Blood changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ford looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. You can see the frustration on Ford's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. What's Ford going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Blood works to advance to full mount. Ford defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
