8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brian Jones! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nutt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nutt. That did some damage! Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nutt misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming. Jones flicks out a counter leg kick but Nutt steps away. Nutt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nutt fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones shoots in and bounces Nutt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones forces his way into half guard. Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next. Jones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Nutt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Houston Nutt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Nutt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jones moves out of range of the strikes. Left hook, right uppercut from Nutt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nutt. Nutt checks the leg kick nicely there.

Jones feints and then cracks Nutt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nutt down. Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Nutt takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Houston Nutt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nutt misses with a wild body shot. Jones shoots in but no luck this time. Houston Nutt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Jones. Nutt takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nutt misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely. Jones throws a solid leg kick but Nutt takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jones. Nutt throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nutt moves out of range of the body kick. A clash of legs there as Nutt blocks the low kick. Nutt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Houston Nutt will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nutt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Nutt's head back.
Nutt bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Jones tried to score with a low kick but Nutt checks it. Nutt misses with a leg kick and Jones counters with an inside leg kick. Nutt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones connects with a leg kick. Nutt looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Nutt loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch. Jones misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nutt dips to his left and cracks Jones with an uppercut! Nutt scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Nutt jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nutt lands with a right hand.
Jones is rocked! Jones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nutt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. It looked like Nutt was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jones. Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Nutt finish him? A looping hook to the body misses from Nutt. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones seems to have recovered his senses. Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nutt sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nutt was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nutt throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Look low, kick high! Nutt uses the oldest trick in the book to send Jones tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Nutt is absolutely delighted - when Jones wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krause closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bennett quickly recovers to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krause passes into side control, despite Bennett's attempt to control the position.

Arnold throws a leg kick which misses Small's front leg but catches the back leg as Small tries to avoid it. Arnold throws a body punch but Small moves out of range. Arnold swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Small. Arnold throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Small walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Arnold scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Belle sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Maul wants to free his trapped foot but Belle is holding on for dear life with his legs. Belle wants to control but Maul is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Maul. I think Maul has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Gerson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
