2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Uchoa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renaldo Diaz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.

Uchoa pushes Diaz up against the cage in a clinch. Uchoa lands an uppercut. Uchoa makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Uchoa lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Diaz. Uchoa scores with a nice hook to the head. Diaz misses with the head strike.
Diaz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Uchoa has him pressed against the cage.
Uchoa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Uchoa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Diaz tries to clinch up but Uchoa circles away and keeps his distance. Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Uchoa.
Diaz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Diaz throws a series of punches but Uchoa moves out of range. Diaz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Diaz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Uchoa is trying to work for a sweep but Diaz has mounted him! Uchoa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Uchoa gets back to half guard.

Uchoa is defending against the submission attempts here by Diaz.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Uchoa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Uchoa kicks Diaz off and gets back to his feet. Uchoa throws a series of punches but Diaz avoids them all with ease. Diaz tries to clinch and Uchoa counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Diaz looks gassed! Uchoa lands a nice shot to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Uchoa ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Uchoa lands a body shot.
Uchoa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Diaz, pushing him back against the cage.

A short left from Uchoa. A battle for position here, against the cage. Uchoa has Diaz pushed against the cage. Diaz is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Uchoa lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Diaz backwards. Diaz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A short right hand to the side of the head by Uchoa.
Uchoa manages to break the clinch.
Uchoa fails to land with a series of punches.
Uchoa looks to land a combination. Diaz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Uchoa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Uchoa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diaz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Uchoa is looking to wear down Diaz with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Left hook, right uppercut from Uchoa. No joy there for Uchoa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Uchoa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diaz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Uchoa's guard now. Diaz postures up in Uchoa's guard and throws a big left but Uchoa blocks it. Diaz is looking to work some ground and pound but Uchoa has wrist control. Diaz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Uchoa is looking for a sweep. Diaz wants to take a breather but Uchoa manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Diaz. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz trying to control but Uchoa is working from the bottom.

Diaz throwing strikes from guard but Uchoa blocks nicely. Uchoa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Diaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Uchoa's guard. Diaz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Diaz winds up and cracks Uchoa with a swinging punch to the side of the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diaz prevents Uchoa from improving his position. Diaz passes to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Uchoa dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Diaz darts in trying to clinch and Uchoa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Uchoa throws a series of punches but Diaz moves out of range. Uchoa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diaz tries to clinch up but Uchoa circles away and keeps his distance. Uchoa clinches but Diaz breaks the clinch
and Diaz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Diaz. Uchoa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Diaz wants to get back to full guard but Uchoa has passed into side control. Diaz is working to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Uchoa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diaz is looking to escape. Uchoa is really struggling to control Diaz but he's trying to hold on to the position. Uchoa controlling the pace for now. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Diaz wants to control but Uchoa is having none of it. Uchoa wants to control the pace but Diaz is squirming around nicely.

Uchoa gets to his feet - Diaz follows without any prompting. Uchoa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Uchoa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively. Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt
so Diaz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Uchoa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Diaz. Diaz sitting in guard, not really doing much. Diaz advances to half guard. Uchoa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Diaz trying to control but Uchoa is working from the bottom. Uchoa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Diaz throwing strikes but missing. Diaz prevents Uchoa from getting back to his feet. Diaz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Uchoa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diaz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renaldo Diaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Diaz fails in his attempt to clinch. Uchoa scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Uchoa lands with a cross. Rafael Uchoa is winning the standup battle so far. Diaz looks to clinch and Uchoa counters with a straight right hand. Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Uchoa was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz. Diaz clinches but Uchoa breaks the clinch and Uchoa counters with a left and a right that stings Diaz.
Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Uchoa is not content to let Diaz control the position. Diaz advances nicely into full mount. Diaz prevents Uchoa from getting the reversal. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Diaz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Uchoa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Diaz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Uchoa's face.

Diaz has hold of Uchoa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Uchoa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Uchoa tries to hold on but Diaz pushes him away. Diaz is landing with some decent strikes but Uchoa is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Diaz working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Uchoa is wriggling around trying to escape.
Diaz working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Uchoa looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Diaz! Submission of the night perhaps?

and DonaVan counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Gorilla off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - DonaVan follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Gorilla was out before he hit the floor.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Roxville's corner calls for a 1-2. Roxville obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Nice shot by Roxville. Whipple takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Whipple looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Cantrell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saint manages to avoid it. Saint dives in and grabs Cantrell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cantrell pushes down on Saint's head and hops out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantrell tried to score with a low kick but Saint checks it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cantrell throws a head kick that misses. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Cantrell looks to land a combination but Saint avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spinbob Cantrell dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Saint takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cantrell tries a head kick but it misses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cantrell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Saint throws out the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saint throws a lazy right hand but Cantrell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cantrell with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saint uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cantrell.

Ghost closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ghost lands in his opponent's guard. Speedo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Speedo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Speedo keeping full guard, as Ghost tries to pass. Ghost throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Speedo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ghost's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Speedo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ghost missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Speedo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Speedo tries to get out of the position. Ghost throws and elbow that misses. Speedo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ghost's guard. Nice move by Speedo! Speedo looking to pass the guard.

Ghost has his foot on Speedo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Speedo works his way back into a safe position though. Ghost looks gassed!

Speedo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Speedo controlling from the top position. Speedo wants to get up but he can't break Ghost's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ghost has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Speedo doesn't defend quickly enough and Ghost has managed to lock this one up! Can Speedo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ghost on a fantastic submission victory.
