The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hermansson clinches up against the cage. Face has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hermansson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Face drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hermansson pulls his leg out and moves away.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quach Minh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Latta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minh comes to the cage accompanied by beautiful life. Quach Minh had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Quach Minh looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Minh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Latta regains full guard. Nicely done. Latta wants to stand but Minh is controlling the position. Minh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Latta pulls Minh in to control the position. Minh trying to control the position from guard on top but Latta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Latta has his hands on Minh's head, controlling the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Minh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Latta shoots in for a double leg but Minh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Minh attempts a counter takedown but Latta avoids it well and moves away. Minh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Minh tries to clinch but Latta is having none of it. Latta drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Minh defends it well. Minh feints a jab promting Latta to slip. Minh then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Latta slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Minh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Latta's guard. Latta is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Minh presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Latta is trying to trip Minh. He has hold of a leg but Minh is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Latta persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Minh pushes Latta off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Berger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hjelmslev misses with a left hand and Hjelmslev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hjelmslev wants to clinch but Berger slips to the side and Berger counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hjelmslev's knee momentarily. Hjelmslev lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Han Solo Berger has been cut. Hjelmslev misses the body punch and Berger counters with a slapping leg kick. Berger ducks under a wild hook from Hjelmslev. Nice uppercut lands for Hjelmslev. That snapped Berger's head back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Good exchange - Hjelmslev coming out on top. Hjelmslev throws a lazy right hand but Berger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A low kick from Hjelmslev is predictable there and Berger counters with a lovely straight right hand! Berger cracks Hjelmslev with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Berger has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hjelmslev to stand back up!
Hjelmslev is rocked! Berger takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hjelmslev is still on wobbly legs! Can Berger finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hjelmslev misses with a right hand and Berger counters with a huge left! Hjelmslev is in big trouble! He's backing up but Berger isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hjelmslev from any more damage. A dominating finish by Berger!

A very excited looking Han Solo Berger made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Ragnar Hjelmslev spoke after the fight, saying 'Well that about sucks. Fuck that shit, I quit this human punching bag rap. Guess that porn star thing will come in handy as a new career.'.

That sent Lockyer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A looping hook to the body misses from Lockyer. Bryggare does a little dance to reset his feet. Lockyer connects with an inside leg kick. A big left from Bryggare misses. Bryggare moves out of range of the strikes. Lockyer looks to land a left hand but Bryggare moved out of range nicely. Lockyer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bryggare. Lockyer throws a body kick that misses. Bryggare was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nice defenses there by Lockyer. Lockyer missing with a left hand there. Bryggare was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bryggare just misses with a punch to the body.

It looked like Bryggare was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lockyer. Bryggare is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Lockyer looks to land a left hand but Bryggare moved out of range nicely. Lockyer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Lockyer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Lockyer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bryggare goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Lockyer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bryggare in his tracks. Lockyer throws a right and a left that both miss. Bryggare's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lockyer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bryggare scrambles back to his feet. Bryggare stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lockyer. A jab from Lockyer misses. Bryggare bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lockyer drops Bryggare with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bryggare looks back up at him and smiles so Lockyer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
