Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis Lestienne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sor Jaime Lannister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lestienne comes into the arena with Team BS – Case Depart blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sor Jaime Lannister! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lestienne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lannister tries to counter with a clinch but Lestienne shakes him off and moves away. Lannister has closed the distance and engaged Lestienne in a clinch.
Lannister is pressed up against the cage. Lestienne has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lannister down to the mat. Lannister avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lestienne looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lannister is fending him off so far but Lestienne persists. Nope, Lannister circles away and we're back to standing. Lestienne definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lannister tries to clinch there but Lestienne circles away.
Lestienne feints and as Lannister raises his hands in defense, Lestienne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lannister can do anything to dispel that myth. Lestienne loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lestienne is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lestienne missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Lestienne content to stall in guard here. Lannister working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lestienne. Lestienne controls from within his opponent's guard. Lestienne postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lestienne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lestienne lands a couple of digs. Lestienne trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lestienne looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lestienne scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lestienne slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Lannister really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lestienne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lestienne throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lestienne landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lestienne looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lannister with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lestienne sitting and controlling from the half guard. Lannister on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lestienne seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lestienne lands a big elbow - Lannister is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Lestienne!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Chuvalo. Those never looked like landing. Chuvalo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Chuvalo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bones circles away quickly and effectively. Bones tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bones has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Chuvalo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bones counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bones prevents Chuvalo from getting back to his feet. Bones cracks Chuvalo with a solid left hand. Chuvalo controls Bones momentarily but Bones frees himself. Chuvalo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chuvalo trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Bones with a nice head shot there. Chuvalo wants to sweep here but Bones controlling him for the moment. Bones scoring with some ground and pound.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lambert misses with a takedown and Biggs counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Biggs tries to land a front kick but Lambert steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Biggs loads up on a big right hand but Lambert slips the punch. Biggs misses with an uppercut
and Lambert counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Biggs fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lambert. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Biggs ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Biggs looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sloppy strikes from Biggs. Those never looked like landing. Biggs lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Biggs has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Biggs throws a lazy body kick and Lambert counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Biggs tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Lambert manages to move to mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Biggs blocking the ground and pound. Lambert tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lambert looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lambert is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Biggs to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Biggs shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lambert looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lambert throwing strikes but Biggs manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Lambert wants to get back to his feet. Lambert is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Abobomination Training $800 13 LEGIT elite coaches, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Biggs stands up. Justin Biggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lambert misses with a straight left. Lambert shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Lambert controlling the action here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lambert is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Biggs doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lambert. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Biggs lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lambert drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Lambert. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lambert, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. A punch combination from Styles misses. Richard Parker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A slapping leg kick lands for Parker.
Styles seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Styles blocks a jab. Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Styles swats him away and circles back towards the center. Styles is looking to counter punch. Styles throws a hook to the side of Parker's head but Parker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Parker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Parker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Styles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Parker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Parker stopping the sweep attempt from Styles. Styles is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Parker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Parker passes Styles's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Styles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though. Styles is trying to get back to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Morbolev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Morbolev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mr Joker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bernardo Muriel! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Muriel moves into the clinch. Joker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Muriel walks away with a smile on his face. Joker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Joker tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Muriel defends well and Joker ends up having to push Muriel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Muriel looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Joker throws a hook to the side of Muriel's head but Muriel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nice defenses there by Muriel. Joker shoots in and drives through. Muriel sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Joker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Muriel was covering up waiting for the punch and Joker finishes the takedown easily into guard. Joker trying to control the position from guard on top but Muriel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Joker being controlled here momentarily. Muriel's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Joker throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Joker slips nicely into half guard. Muriel keeping control of the position. Muriel is refusing to be controlled, as Joker sits in half guard. Joker tries to pass to full mount but Muriel defends it. Joker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Muriel looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Joker lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Joker wants to pass the guard but Muriel is defending well. Joker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shlemenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Funkhouser moves away. Shlemenko throws the left hand but Funkhouser avoids the punch easily. Funkhouser is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Shlemenko instigates a clinch. Shlemenko tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Shlemenko lands a nice uppercut. Shlemenko stops a takedown attempt from Funkhouser.
Shlemenko lands a hook to the side of the head. A battle for position here, against the cage. Shlemenko lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Funkhouser backwards. Funkhouser tries to work over Shlemenko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Shlemenko working aggressively here.
Funkhouser is leaning against Shlemenko and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head punch on the inside from Funkhouser fails to land. Shlemenko misses with the head strike.

and Shlemenko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab-cross combination lands for Shlemenko and sends Funkhouser crashing to the mat! Shlemenko follows him down to the mat - Funkhouser regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Funkhouser seems to have got his legs back now. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Shlemenko working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Funkhouser wants to improve his position but Shlemenko is controlling well.
Funkhouser is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Million Dollar Performance Center, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Shlemenko decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shlemenko throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Funkhouser seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Funkhouser walks into a straight right hand from Shlemenko. Shlemenko tries to clinch but Funkhouser moves out of range. Shlemenko throws a shot from downtown. Funkhouser moves away and avoids it. Funkhouser showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shlemenko.
Shlemenko moves in looking to clinch but Funkhouser pushes him off. A little feinted left hand from Funkhouser on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Funkhouser on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shlemenko. Shlemenko obviously looking to wear him down.

It looks like Trenton Funkhouser has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shlemenko stands up from mount. Strange move. Shlemenko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It looked like Funkhouser was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Shlemenko. Funkhouser slips a jab and a cross from Shlemenko.
Shlemenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A counter left hand to the body from Funkhouser misses its target. Shlemenko throws a nice looking combination but Funkhouser bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Funkhouser appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Funkhouser staying out of range there. It looked like Funkhouser was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Shlemenko swings widly with a right hand
and Funkhouser connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Shlemenko throws a hook but Funkhouser blocks it. Shlemenko clinches up against the cage. Funkhouser dodges an elbow strike from Shlemenko.
Shlemenko is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Funkhouser blocking some punches.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Shlemenko moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Funkhouser! Shlemenko continues to tee off on Funkhouser, landing with a left and a right! Shlemenko connects with a right hand that leaves Funkhouser sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Shlemenko!
