Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex shoots in for a double leg but McCoy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. McCoy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McCoy wants it to stay on the feet. McCoy stuffs the takedown attempt from Rex. Rex gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevor Rex. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rex misses with a takedown attempt - McCoy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McCoy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Nice sprawl there from McCoy as Rex shoots in. McCoy rushes Rex with punches - Rex moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rex goes down! McCoy follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Czyzewski sprawls well. He's pushed Henderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Czyzewski slips under a jab from Henderson. Jeremy Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Decent striking displayed by Henderson there. Czyzewski throws a series of punches but Henderson avoids them all with ease. Henderson looks to throw the jab but Czyzewski is out of range. Czyzewski ducks under a wild hook from Henderson. Czyzewski uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Henderson. Henderson fails with a takedown attempt. Henderson wants to slow Czyzewski down by chopping away at his legs. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Czyzewski's guard. Henderson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Czyzewski defending well though. Henderson wants to control but Czyzewski is keeping him busy. Czyzewski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Henderson. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Henderson trying to control from half guard but Czyzewski is working away. Turner is looking to work some ground and pound but Drago has wrist control. Drago looking for a guillotine here but Turner defends easily.
Drago is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Turner is trying to stand up here but Drago is controlling him well. Kevin Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Drago's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Drago tries to clinch but fails miserably so Turner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Drago working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Drago is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Turner is aware though and is defending well. Drago might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drago looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Drago with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brae tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wheeler swats him away and circles back towards the center. No joy there for Brae, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brae takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Fukamachi or perhaps it was just good defense by Elorde which made him look bad. Fukamachi shoots in for a takedown but Elorde shows good takedown defense. Elorde lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Elorde gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fukamachi to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fukamachi trying to control the position from guard on top but Elorde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fukamachi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Elorde wants to get back to his feet but Fukamachi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sistjierten rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karlsen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Karlsen gets the takedown into side control. Karlsen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sistjierten is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sistjierten is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Karlsen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sistjierten is looking to reverse the position. Sistjierten manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Karlsen wants to free his trapped foot but Sistjierten is holding on for dear life with his legs. Sistjierten is looking to escape. Shepherd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shepherd pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shepherd looks to score with a jab to the body but Hais is just out of range. Shepherd sizes up Hais with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A close third round but Frankie Shepherd just about did enough to take it. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Frankie Shepherd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shepherd throws a lazy head kick and Hais counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hais. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Shepherd takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Shepherd unloads a knee to the mid-section. Shepherd throws a wild body kick that Hais sees coming a mile off. Shepherd misses the body punch and Hais counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hais.

Shepherd swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hais drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shepherd dives on top into guard. Shepherd wanted to stand there but Hais had control of the position. Shepherd advances to half guard. Shepherd is trying to control. Hais wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hais manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hais has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shepherd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hais is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Shepherd stands up and waves to Hais to follow him. Hais avoids the body shot from Shepherd.
Frankie Shepherd seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hais shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shepherd as he avoids it easily. Hais looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hais prevents Shepherd from standing back up.

Shepherd goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hais displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shepherd throws out the jab. Shepherd dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hais closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hais tries to advance to mount but can't. Hais working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hais is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shepherd knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Hais is trying to get an arm triangle but Shepherd is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shepherd wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hais.
Hais throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Shepherd because Hais loaded up on that one. Hais unloads with some shots from mount but Shepherd bucks and avoids them well.
Shepherd sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Shepherd is not content to let Hais control the position. Shepherd is defending against the submission attempts here by Hais.
Hais passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Shepherd!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hais is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shepherd can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hais fails to move to back control. Shepherd bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
