 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felipe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
 It looks like Abner Felipe has been cut. Felipe cracks Thorsen with a good jab. Thorsen works the jab nicely.
Thorsen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Felipe sprawling to the canvas! Felipe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thorsen finish him?!
 Felipe is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thorsen measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Felipe! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hribik fails with the takedown. Alves stuffs the takedown attempt from Hribik. Hribik gets slowly back to his feet. Hribik looks to land a combination but Alves avoids it well. Alves definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hribik fails in his attempt to clinch. A head kick from Alves lands but Hribik takes it in his stride. Hribik tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Alves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Despite the aggression on Hribik's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A head kick misses from Alves. Brandon Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alves scores with a head kick.
Alves lands an overhand right. Alves lands a head kick. Hribik smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Alves misses with a head kick.

Hribik unleashes a big counter combination but Alves bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Hribik shoots in but Alves avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brandon Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brano Hribik. Alves swinging wildly here.

Alves manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hribik keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Hribik fails to land.
Hribik is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Alves can't fight it off and eventually Hribik manages to take the fight to the floor. Alves looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hribik wants to pass the guard but Alves is keeping the position. Alves pulls Hribik in close to prevent any damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Alves is trying to keep Hribik in close.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hribik would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hribik working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Alves's corner calls for a 1-2. Alves obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Alves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hribik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hribik drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hribik is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Alves is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Alves has escaped and now he's on top!
Alves trying to control but Hribik is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alves accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Alves trying to control the position from guard on top but Hribik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alves preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hribik working for a triangle but Alves defends it easily.
Alves postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Alves slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Alves trying to control the position from guard on top but Hribik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Alves dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hribik takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hribik darts in looking for a takedown but Alves gets double underhooks and turns Hribik into the cage. Alves lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Alves lunges at Hribik with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hribik's hand. Alves throws a head kick that misses. Hribik dives in for a single leg takedown but Alves sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Brano Hribik is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hribik darts in and clinches Alves up against the cage. Hribik is looking to take this one to the mat. Brandon Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brano Hribik. Alves lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Hribik is breathing heavily. Hribik shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alves defends it nicely. Alves bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hribik's head backwards. Hribik looks to land a right hand but Alves moved out of range. Alves connects with a jab. Brandon Alves is winning the standup battle so far. Alves's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hribik connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Alves scrambles back to his feet. Alves throws a head kick that misses. Hribik blocks a head kick by Alves.
Hribik drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Alves defends it well. Alves throws a sloppy head kick and Hribik moves out of range easily. Alves is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hribik can do to turn this around? Hribik takes a jab right on the kisser.

 Hribik is rocked! Alves moves out of range of the strikes. Alves goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Hribik is still on wobbly legs! Can Alves finish him?
 That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Alves! Hribik is out on his feet! Alves rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hribik is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hribik is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cory Tan! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tan misses with an uppercut. Lim saw that one coming. Tan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Tan looks to land a left hand but Lim moved out of range nicely. Lim seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. A swing and a miss from Tan. Tan misses with a low kick.
Lim throws a hook but Tan blocks it. Lim walks into a left hand. Tan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lim is out of range and Tan settles back down. Lim keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

 It looks like Xoa Lim has been cut. Tan throws a leg kick but Lim checks it. A lazy left from Tan finds it's target. Tan lands a glancing blow to the side of Lim's head. Lim scores with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lim displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tan throws out the jab. Tan lunges at Lim with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lim's hand.
 Lim is rocked! Lim gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Tan gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Lim is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Tan! After winning the bout, Cory Tan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cabron to score with a decent uppercut. Cabron throws a head kick but Martinez moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Cabron. Martinez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cabron thows a body kick. Martinez tries to catch it but that hurt him. Cabron should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Martinez shoots in for a takedown but Cabron shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Martinez slips a jab and a cross from Cabron.
Martinez takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Carlos Cabron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martinez is breathing heavily. Cabron throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Martinez crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

It looks like RioGrande might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Johnson wants to stand and escape but RioGrande is having none of it. Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for RioGrande on the ground. RioGrande sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. RioGrande looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. That was a close round but I would say that John Johnson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet. Johnson tries to bum rush RioGrande with a series of wild strikes but RioGrande uses good footwork to avoid the assault. RioGrande feints the counter takedown. Johnson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. RioGrande seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Johnson shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! RioGrande is backing up but Johnson catches him with a final right hook that drops him! RioGrande covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Johnson Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Johnson! Emielio RioGrande was interviewed post fight and said 'i gave my best'.

Pooh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jobs's guard. Pooh's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Pooh drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jobs manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pooh has Jobs in his guard.

Pooh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jobs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pooh is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jobs frees his head nicely. Oh but Pooh has switched to an armbar! Jobs is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. You can see the frustration on Avare's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A lull in the action here.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Avare lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Gaston Avare has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Avare throws a jab when Joey was well out of range.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caerwyn tries to clinch up but Pavelic circles away and keeps his distance. Pavelic throws a nice outside leg kick. Caerwyn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pavelic.
Caerwyn cracks Pavelic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Caerwyn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pavelic was well out of range. Poor timing from Caerwyn. Caerwyn throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pavelic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pavelic listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
 It looks like Luciano Caerwyn has been cut. Pavelic has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Pavelic avoids a kick to the body.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Caerwyn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pavelic has time to react. Caerwyn cracks a nice hook into Pavelic's ribs. An inside leg kick from Pavelic misses. Caerwyn attempts a counter takedown but Pavelic avoids it well and moves away. Sloppy strikes from Caerwyn. Those never looked like landing.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reagan scores with a jab. Silva acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A big right from Reagan misses. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Silva! But no joy. Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Reagan's head. Reagan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Reagan tries to move into range but Silva moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Reagan throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it. Silva looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Reagan misses with a wild body shot. Silva takes one on the button.
 Silva is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. BOOM! Reagan lands a beautiful left hook that drops Silva. Silva tries to recover but Reagan is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Silva lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
