The bell rings for round one and we are underway! no rushes Hendrix and presses him up against the cage. Hendrix is fighting off a takedown attempt but no is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hendrix to the mat. Hendrix regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hendrix is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst no is controlling him. Hendrix looking to sweep here. No luck so far. no seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. no postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. no postures up in Hendrix's guard and throws a big left but Hendrix blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. no distracts Hendrix with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. no throws a big elbow that misses. no looking to pass the guard. Brooks drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Brash follows Brooks to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Newton with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Badger to score with a decent uppercut. Badger lands with an overhand left. Badger has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Newton has a takedown stuffed. Badger tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Excellent takedown into side control there by Badger. You can see the frustration on Newton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Newton is looking for a sweep. Newton avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Badger. Badger lands an elbow. Newton takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Newton is looking for a sweep. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Newton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Newton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Badger creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Newton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Badger throws an elbow but Newton slips to the side and avoids it well. Newton regains half guard. Badger landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Badger missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Badger lands with a punch from half guard. Newton looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Badger is thwarting Newton's attempts to control the position. Badger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Newton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Newton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Badger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Badger landing with the ground and pound. Newton looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Newton throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Badger is posturing up here but Newton has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Badger tries to roll out but it's too tight and Badger has to tap! Slick submission there by Newton!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking body kick lands there for Beluk. Beluk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kane moves away. Kane tries to clinch but Beluk is having none of it. Beluk appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kane is looking to clinch. Kane throws a sloppy head kick and Beluk moves out of range easily. Beluk keeps the fight on the outside. Beluk thuds a left hand into Kane's body. Beluk lands with a nice body kick. Beluk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kane looking for a takedown here - he's got it. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Beluk holds on and takes a little breather. Kane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Beluk has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kane should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Beluk has tightened it up now! Kane should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arcuri on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rustandi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nice sprawl there from Rustandi as Arcuri shoots in. Arcuri misses with a left hand and Rustandi counters with a low kick, right behind Arcuri 's knee. Arcuri lands with a slapping head kick. Rustandi throws a right and a left that both miss. Rustandi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've been informed that Arcuri has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Arcuri throws a lazy head kick and Rustandi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Arcuri scores with a kick to the body.
A big left from Arcuri misses. Phil Arcuri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rustandi misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barat clinches. Barat breaks from the clinch.
That kick from Brown tenderised Barat's leg. Barat is trying to keep his angry face on. Barat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center. Barat clinches up with Brown and pushes him back against the cage. Barat has had enough of the clinch but Brown keeps him there for the moment. Brown has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Barat avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Barat breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've been hearing reports that Brown has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Barat scores with a decent looking hook. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by Barat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barat circles away. Barat has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Brown misses with a takedown enabling Barat to counter with a crisp jab. Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Barat defends well and Brown ends up having to push Barat into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Barat just misses with a punch to the body.

Kennedy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Suckerpunch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kennedy throws out the jab.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kennedy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. As Kennedy backs off Suckerpunch throws a huge counter combo but Kennedy manages to avoid it all. A shot to the body from Kennedy misses and Suckerpunch counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Kennedy badly! Suckerpunch follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Kennedy out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Suckerpunch finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ricki Suckerpunch! After the fight, Ricki Suckerpunch was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
