The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeeri misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jeeri uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hayway has time to react. Nice uppercut there from Hayway. Hayway dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hayway scores with a hook. Jeeri misses with an uppercut. Hayway scores with a leg kick.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nathan Hayway will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Jeeri is looking to clinch. Jeeri feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hayways jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Hayway slips under a jab. Jeeri tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hayway paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jeeri throws a shot from downtown. Hayway moves away and avoids it. Some wild striking there from Jeeri.

and Jeeri counters with a head kick. The fighters circling - Jeeri throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jeeri misses with a straight left. Jeeri will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hayway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jeeri tries to score with a low kick but Hayway moves his leg out of the way. Hayway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jeeri was well out of range. Poor timing from Hayway. Jeeri moves out of range of the strikes. Jeeri takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hayway, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Andrews is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lemieux's half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Andrews looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. It looks like Testing Inprogress has been cut. Inprogress moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Inprogress chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leeroy can pounce on him.

Inprogress is looking for a kimura but Leeroy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Inprogress to get the leverage. Inprogress prevents Leeroy from improving his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Inprogress seems to be working for a kimura but Leeroy defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Testing Inprogress showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Testing Inprogress's cut. Inprogress uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leeroy. Inprogress scores with a punch to the head. Inprogress displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Leeroy throws out the jab. A nice side step and Inprogress releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Leeroy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Inprogress.

A little feinted left hand from Leeroy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Inprogress lands a nice leg kick that just misses Leeroy's sensitive parts. Leeroy blocks a head kick by Inprogress.

It seemed like Inprogress was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Leeroy throws a low kick but Inprogress moves out of range easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Inprogress. That's going to slow Leeroy down. Leeroy throws a half hearted mid kick. Inprogress swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Leeroy blocks a head kick by Inprogress.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Inprogress passes to side control. You can see the frustration on Leeroy's face as Inprogress controls the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Testing Inprogress comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Inprogress has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raban misses with a double jab
letting Moon counter with a right hand. Moon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Raban.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Raban has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Raban tries to land a leg kick but Moon saw it coming and moves away.
Raban closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Moon lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Raban or not. Raban prevents a body shot from Moon. Moon lands an uppercut. Raban goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Moon lands a right hand that snaps the head of Raban backwards. Raban stalling the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Raban. Raban tries to work over Moon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Moon prevents a body shot from Raban. Moon pulls Raban in close to his closed guard and prevents Raban from doing any damage or advancing position. Raban wants to control from the top but Moon keeps moving. Moon wants to improve his position but instead Raban has moved into half guard.

Moon is working hard here to advance position. Raban wants to free his trapped foot but Moon is holding on for dear life with his legs. Raban missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Moon misses with some strikes from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Raban is thwarting Moon's attempts to control the position. Raban not landing any meaningful shots this time. Raban drops an elbow to the side of Moon's head. Moon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Raban wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moon keeps working. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raban in particular looking to stall. Raban stalling away here and it's allowed Moon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Raban around the waist but Raban pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Raban is the winner by TKO! Judah is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sobrante with a body shot. Judah throws a body punch but Sobrante moves out of range. Sobrante throws a body punch but Judah moves out of range. Judah misses with a low kick. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sobrante. A little jabbing left from Judah on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Judah jabs Sobrante to the body, keeping him at a distance. A jab from Judah misses. Judah throws out a loose jab but Sobrante uses good head movement to avoid it. Sobrante motions for Judah to come forward. Sobrante throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Judah connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Valentin Nasimentu! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Britton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Valentin Nasimentu has been cut. Britton throws a big shot that misses. OH! Nasimentu has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Britton smells blood and charges in for the finish! Britton unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Nasimentu sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tel Britton! Tel Britton bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nakki Fakiiri! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Troy Powers! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers slips under a jab from Fakiiri. An inside leg kick from Powers misses. A good leg kick by Fakiiri. Powers takes a swing at Fakiiri's ribcage but misses. Fakiiri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Powers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Powers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fakiiri looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A telegraphed right hand from Fakiiri misses the target. Powers misses with an uppercut. Fakiiri saw that one coming. Fakiiri works Powers's body with a nice hook. Powers misses the jab. Powers throws a body shot but no joy. Fakiiri misses with an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fakiiri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Powers was well out of range. Poor timing from Fakiiri. Powers takes a kick to the side of the head. Fakiiri slips a jab from Powers. Powers cracks Fakiiri with a good jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fakiiri fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Powers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Good leg kick by Fakiiri there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fakiiri misses with an uppercut. Powers saw that one coming. Fakiiri ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nakki Fakiiri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fakiiri tries to land a front kick but Powers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Fakiiri turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Powers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Fakiiri checks a low kick from Powers. Fakiiri digs a good hook to Powers's body.
Powers gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fakiiri throws a sloppy head kick and Powers moves out of range easily. Fakiiri ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fakiiri tries to score with a low kick but Powers moves his leg out of the way. Fakiiri throws a front kick that sends Powers stumbling back into the cage. A kick lands to the mid section there for Fakiiri. Nakki Fakiiri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fakiiri on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Powers. Powers obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fakiiri looks for the body kick but Powers saw that one coming. A jab from Fakiiri misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fakiiri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fakiiri avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fakiiri jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fakiiri throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A solid leg kick lands there for Fakiiri.
Powers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fakiiri to score with a decent uppercut. Fakiiri moves out of range of the strikes. Fakiiri displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Powers throws out the jab. Powers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Powers avoids a kick to the body.
Powers doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Powers misses with a body shot
and Fakiiri connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fakiiri scores with a crisp jab that stopped Powers in his tracks. A shot to the body from Fakiiri misses and Powers counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Fakiiri! Powers trying to control the position but Fakiiri is working away. Fakiiri tries to buck Powers off but Powers is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fakiiri manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Fakiiri not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fakiiri prevents Powers from improving his position. Fakiiri wants to stand but Powers has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Fakiiri trying to pass the guard but Powers defending well. Fakiiri seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Powers is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Nakki Fakiiri! Nakki Fakiiri retains his welterweight title! In his post fight interview, Nakki Fakiiri started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
