The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalifa throws a right and a left that Bowman avoids nicely.
Bowman swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Master rushes Duffey and presses him up against the cage.

Duffey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Master fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Duffey tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck for Duffey with that takedown attempt.
As Duffey tries to get set, Master tries to push him back and clinch up but Duffey manages to avoid the attempt.

Master closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Master jumps guard but Duffey stands there with Master around his waist. Master gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Master wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Duffey fails to pull guard.
Master could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Master prevents the takedown attempt.
Deking Master has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Duffey.
Duffey lands a knee to the head.
Master is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Duffey pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Duffey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Master throws a sloppy head kick and Duffey moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Master throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Duffey stuffs the takedown.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Master crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Duffey - the referee stops the clock and Master gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Duffey. Master manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Master takes a kick to the side of the head.
Duffey lands a head kick!

Duffey lands a big head kick that sends Master tumbling to the mat! Duffey takes a step backwards and waves Master back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Master is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Master tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duffey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Master is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Duffey and Master are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Duffey throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Master into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Duffey knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

A determined Joseph Duffey didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

Boyle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyle trying to mount his opponent but Kyle defends it.
Boyle moves nicely into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kyle takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Boyle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boyle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kyle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boyle has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kyle is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Boyle yanks on the arm and Kyle is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Boyle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kjaber enables Future to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kjaber manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kjaber seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
