The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorsen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blanket. Blanket changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thorsen tries to avoid it but Blanket manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thorsen to the ground. Thorsen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Blanket takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Wet Blanket has been cut. Thorsen scores with a body shot.
Thorsen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A left lands for Thorsen. Nice straight punches there by Thorsen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Thorsen. A telegraphed right hand from Blanket misses the target. Thorsen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Thorsen lands a nice shot that snaps Blanket's head back.
Thorsen lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Blanket falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young tries to score a power double leg takedown but Juricic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young somewhat. Young takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Juricic stuffs the takedown. Juricic lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Juricic.
It looks like Ami Young has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Juricic connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Juricic ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Juricic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Young looks winded!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws an off balance right hand
and Nakamura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nakamura throws out a powerful jab. Nice shot by Nakamura. Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nakamura. Nakamura scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Nice straight punches there by Nakamura. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nakamura.
Johnson is rocked! Johnson is aggressively charging in as Nakamura backs up avoiding any damage. Nakamura tosses out a jab and Johnson runs right into it face first! Johnson is out cold! Nakamura dropped down on all fours and is barking in Johnson 's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Perez uses his free foot to push down on Campos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Campos. Perez controlling his opponent. Campos defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Perez. Campos takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Perez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Perez has hold of Campos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Campos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Perez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Campos is now in Perez's guard. A big mistake from Perez there, giving up the dominant position!

Benny Perez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Campos won't allow Perez to sweep him here. Perez is still trying to improve position. Perez has Campos pulled in close to control his posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Benny Perez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Perez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Drogo. Allen tries to bench press Drogo off him but Drogo keeps the position. Allen prevents Drogo from moving into mount. Allen is being controlled here. Allen is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Drogo has just dragged him back down to the mat. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Allen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Drogo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drogo taking a breather here.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Surprise has eaten all the pies! Surprise scores with a hook to the body. Bastad takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Surprise moves into the clinch successfully.

It looks like Chris Bastad has been cut. Bastad jumps guard but Surprise stands there with Bastad around his waist. Bastad gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gonzo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marquez circles away quickly and effectively. Gonzo stuffs the takedown. Marquez with a lazy takedown attempt and Gonzo counters with a left and a right that stings Marquez. Marquez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gonzo counters with a three punch combo that has Marquez backing up. Marquez nods at Gonzo to acknowledge the strikes. Marquez misses with a combination
and Gonzo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Gonzo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Gabriel Marquez has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Great Gonzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
