And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Sergei Gunines!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Gunines shoots in but no luck this time.
Sanich leaves Gunines with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sanich looking to score a takedown here. Gunines is defending well but Sanich drives through and ends up in Gunines's guard.

Sanich drops back looking for a leg! Gunines is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gunines manages to kick Sanich off! Sanich jumps back into Gunines's guard.

Gunines is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sanich's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Sanich is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gunines sees it coming and defends easily.

Sanich is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gunines is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Kevin Buttler!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Buttler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dias is trying to defend but Buttler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Buttler tries to pass to full mount but Dias defends it.
Dias could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Buttler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dias does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Buttler is pressing down on Dias's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dias is holding on for now.

Buttler is looking to advance position but Dias won't allow it.

Buttler is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dias is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dias has escaped and now he's on top!

Dias's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
