Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Duffey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terrell Bowman!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffey dives in and grabs Bowman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bowman pushes down on Duffey's head and hops out.
Duffey scores with a head kick. Bowman tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Terrell Bowman has been cut.
Bowman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bowman duly obliges.

It looks like Joseph Duffey has been cut.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Duffey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Duffey throws a sloppy head kick and Bowman moves out of range easily.
Bowman jabs Duffey right on the nose. Duffey blinks but takes it well.
Bowman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duffey connects with a leg kick. Bowman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Duffey lands a head kick. Bowman smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Duffey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Duffey on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Oooooh!!! Bowman has knocked Duffey down with a huge combo! Bowman steps away and waves a wobbly Duffey back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Duffey is rocked!

Bowman cracks Duffey with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bowman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Duffey to stand back up!
Oh Duffey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Duffey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A countering left hand to the body from Bowman misses.
Duffey is breathing heavily.
Bowman fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Duffey out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Terrell Bowman!
A relieved looking Terrell Bowman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Kjaber decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kjaber moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Stephens.
Stephens tries to buck Kjaber off but Kjaber is having none of it.
Stephens is working hard here to advance position.
Kjaber controls the position from side control.

Kjaber is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stephens knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stephens is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kjaber rolls with it to try and escape but Stephens cranks on the arm and Kjaber is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
