The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rakko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rakko is looking to work some ground and pound but Sheldon has wrist control.
Sheldon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magni Turisas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ripper might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Odorants - This Night. Turisas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Manowar - Gods Of War. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ripper feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Turisas sprawling to the canvas! Turisas rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ripper finish him?!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Alarinne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McFat tries to avoid it but Alarinne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McFat to the ground. McFat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Alarinne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
