The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaga pulls out of a head kick attempt.
WhiteSlice looks to land a left hand but Gaga moved out of range nicely.

Gaga bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gaga accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gaga feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gaga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. WhiteSlice swivels though and keeps the full guard.

WhiteSlice tries to kick Gaga off but Gaga keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Armstrong comes to the cage accompanied by "Bullet Soul" Switchfoot. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mahut Uno was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Uno looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Uno tries to clinch but Armstrong is having none of it.
Armstrong lands with a kick to the temple. Uno shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Uno ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Uno no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Armstrong wants to stand but Uno has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
