Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Smoak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilhaume Prevot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smoak comes to the cage accompanied by Seven Devils. On his way into the cage it seems that Oliver Smoak has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Oliver Smoak seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Smoak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guilhaume Prevot! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prevot takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Guilhaume Prevot has been cut. Smoak throws a hook to the side of Prevot's head but Prevot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Prevot scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Prevot on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Smoak. Smoak obviously looking to wear him down.
Prevot walks into a straight right hand from Smoak. A head kick from Smoak lands but Prevot takes it in his stride. Prevot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smoak takes the fight into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smoak lands a nice shot to the body. Smoak doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Prevot darts in and clinches Smoak up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Smoak. Smoak throws a head punch that misses. Prevot looking to stall.
Smoak lands a nice shot to the body. Smoak swings wildly with an uppercut but Prevot uses good head movement to avoid it. Smoak makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Smoak lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Smoak tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Prevot has had enough of the clinch but Smoak keeps him there for the moment. Smoak has a couple of punches blocked by Prevot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Prevot is trying to pull guard but Smoak has him pressed against the cage. Smoak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Prevot is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smoak sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Smoak jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Prevot on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Smoak. Smoak obviously looking to wear him down.
Nice body kick from Smoak. Prevot's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Donk. Smoak catches Prevot right on the button with a cross. Smoak buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Prevot looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prevot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smoak tries to avoid it but Prevot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smoak to the ground. Smoak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Smoak appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Smoak connects with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smoak lands with a nice body kick. Smoak is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Prevot sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Smoak lands an overhand right. Smoak gets in close and instigates a clinch. Smoak swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Smoak keeps Prevot at a distance using the push kick. Prevot has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smoak finds it's way round the side to connect with Prevot's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smoak avoids a punch combination nicely.

Baird chips away with some ground and pound. Baird controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Baird won't allow Quail to sweep him here. Baird passes easily into side control. Nice work. Baird tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baird grinds an elbow into Quail's temple. Baird controlling the position from side mount.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Lewandowski does it's job there. Trzy moves to clinch but Lewandowski breaks away and Lewandowski counters with a nice body shot. We've been told by Lewandowski's head coaches at School Of Fighting that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Trzy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lewandowski's waist but Lewandowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trzy off to one side. Trzy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Trzy with a nice cross. Lewandowski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
