The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machismo dives in and grabs Elliot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Elliot pushes down on Machismo's head and hops out.

Machismo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Elliot as he jumps to the side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ray Elliot.

Holliday creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mendel sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Moore thuds his right hand into delos Santos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Moore missing with a left hand there. delos Santos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
delos Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but delos Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A combination from Moore does no damage.

Moore cracks delos Santos with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! delos Santos looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Moore finish him?
