Fujita dives in and grabs Walker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes down on Fujita's head and hops out.
Fujita shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fujita fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walker avoids it really well and circles away.
Walker is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo circles away from the clinch attempt
and Araujo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Maximov throws a shot to the body.

Maximov closes the distance and pushes Araujo back into the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Araujo tries to score a body lock takedown but Maximov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Maximov lands a left hand.

Araujo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Maximov pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Araujo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maximov throws a powerful right kick. Araujo tried to block low but the kick was high! Araujo was taken right off of his feet! Maximov jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
