The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Warner throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Warner trying to control the action but Kowalski is working from the bottom. Kowalski is trying to control Warner's posture but Warner avoids it. Warner looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kowalski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Warner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Warner is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kowalski has escaped the position, nice work there. Kowalski gets back to half guard. Kowalski looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Warner takes a little break here. Kowalski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Warner walks away with a smile on his face. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Warner connects with a high kick. Warner throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Warner thows a body kick. Kowalski tries to catch it but that hurt him. Warner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Warner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Warner lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kowalski is rocked! Warner is landing with some decent strikes but Kowalski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Warner working the ground and pound effectively.
Oh Kowalski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Warner working away from the top, dropping strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kelly. Bornstein cracks Kelly with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Kristian Kelly has been cut. Kelly digs a good body shot into Bornstein's ribs. Kelly connects with a body shot. A slow jab from Kelly misses its intended target. Kelly gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bornstein swats away the attempt to clinch by Kelly. Bornstein ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kelly takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from Bornstein finds it's way through Kelly's defenses. Bornstein connects with a nice looking jab.
That has opened up Kristian Kelly's cut even more. Bornstein connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kelly - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clem fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Phonics, pushing him back against the cage. Phonics pushes off an throws an elbow but Clem leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Clem. A nice left hand lands by Clem.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Clem as Phonics tries to tie him up. Phonics tries a knee to the head but Clem blocks it.
Clem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bubba Clem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clem thuds his shin into the meat of Phonics's side. Phonics looks gassed! Clem tries a head kick but it misses.
Clem scores a takedown into full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Clem controlling from the full mount. Clem lands a heavy elbow. Clem postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Phonics looks a forlorn figure.
Clem raining down shots from the mount! Clem controlling the pace for now. Clem unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Phonics wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Clem celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dredd sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Dredd prevents Smith from getting the reversal. Smith is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The referee warns Smith that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Dredd lands a nice shot to the head. Dredd landing shots from mount. Dredd is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Smith has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Dredd looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jah Dredd will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Dredd manages to work his way to half guard, despite Smith's best efforts. Dredd won't allow Smith to pass to mount. Dredd trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Smith manages to pass to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith with good strikes from the mount here! Smith with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dredd is squirming around, avoiding Smith's attempts to control the action. Dredd slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Smith is looking to take a break and control but Dredd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dredd is trying to control but Smith manages to pass to mount!
Smith has hold of Dredd's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dredd manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Smith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dredd is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! John Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Smith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mounfield trying to control the position from guard on top but Mendosa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mendosa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mounfield is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mendosa. A cross from Mendosa lands. Mounfield connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Mounfield lands with a thumping leg kick.

Mendosa is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mounfield steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mendosa. Oh Mendosa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A head kick by Mounfield - that's a beauty! Mendosa is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. It looks like Jack Black has been cut. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Romano prevents Black from improving his position. Black is still in real trouble! Can Romano finish him? Black is defending against the submission attempts here by Romano.
Romano tries to pass the half guard into mount. Black knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Black punching from the bottom.
Black seems to have recovered his senses. Black is looking for a sweep. Romano is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Romano wants to free his trapped foot but Black is holding on for dear life with his legs. Black is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Romano's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Romano's back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Black's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Black gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Black gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Black apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Andre Romano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Black. Black fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Romano sprawls well initially but Black persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Black lands strikes from half guard. Black working over Romano with some ground and pound. Romano looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Black uses his free foot to push down on Romano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Romano.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Black putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Black takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Black raining down shots from the mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Black with shots to the head and body - Romano looks very uncomfortable down there.
