Sirven fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've been told by McGregor's head coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
McGregor misses with a lunging right hand
and Sirven counters with a single leg into guard. McGregor didn't expect that.
Sirven controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Possibly an early stoppage but McGregor doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

He only made it down to 172.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Holly Shiet was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Steinhof looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gormanson can't hide his disappointment, as Steinhof celebrates the victory.
