The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen looks to land a combination but Pride avoids it well.
Hansen tries to bum rush Pride with a series of wild strikes but Pride uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pride misses with a takedown attempt
and Hansen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hansen gets caught flat footed, as Pride shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pride throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hansen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Pride wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hansen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hansen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hansen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Pride has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hansen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pride content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hansen has locked up a guillotine! Hansen's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Pride is holding on here and Hansen must be using up a lot of energy. Pride has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hansen gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Yakuza misses with a head kick.
Lohan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Yakuza tries a head kick but it misses.
Lohan appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Lohan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Yakuza throws a head kick that misses

and Lohan counters with a single leg into guard. Yakuza didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lohan seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Yakuza is trying to remain composed but Lohan is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Lohan has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Yakuza! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lohan gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Johnson shoots for a takedown but Unikeko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Unikeko feints the counter takedown.
Unikeko has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Johnson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Johnson enables Unikeko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Johnson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Unikeko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Johnson's guard.

Unikeko is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Unikeko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Johnson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Unikeko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

You can see the frustration on Hovac's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
