The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Chivon. Chivon lands a brutal head kick. Moura looks out on his feet and Chivon throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Jetro Chivon! Jetro Chivon spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Shang as Wilkins shoots in. An inside leg kick from Shang misses. Wilkins has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Shang is landing a low percentage of strikes. Wilkins avoids a kick to the body.

It looks like Groundbreaking News has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones decides to stand and escape the position. Oh News is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones connects with a superb combination that knocks News out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Jones before he can land any more shots to the unconscious News!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luscious Jones! Luscious Jones decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boulder.
Drone unleashes a big counter combination but Boulder bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Nice body kick from Boulder. A momentary lapse in concentration from Drone enables Boulder to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Drone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Boulder throwing strikes from guard but Drone blocks nicely. Boulder avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boulder chips away with some ground and pound. Boulder postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drone has a closed guard, preventing Boulder from standing up. Drone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Drone working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Boulder. Drone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Amsterdam is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bruttz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Amsterdam looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Bruttz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bruttz manages to get back to half guard. Bruttz is looking for a sweep. Amsterdam is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bruttz actively working from the bottom here. Bruttz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bruttz. Amsterdam definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bruttz working for a triangle but Amsterdam defends it easily.

Hughes has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Hughes gets caught flat footed, as Barnaoui shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Catchmaer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lynch is looking for the big counter here. Lynch has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Catchmaer is landing a low percentage of strikes. Catchmaer tries to clinch but Lynch is having none of it. Catchmaer avoids the head kick by Lynch.

Lynch looks to land a left hand but Catchmaer moved out of range nicely. Catchmaer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. and Lynch counters with a crisp one two that drops Catchmaer! Lynch thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Catchmaer to his feet! Catchmaer is in big trouble! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Catchmaer gets a clinch. A head punch on the inside from Catchmaer fails to land. Lynch has had enough of the clinch but Catchmaer keeps him there for the moment. Lynch is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lynch lands a right hand.

Lynch tries to move into range but Catchmaer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lynch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lynch misses with a straight right. Catchmaer tests Lynch's chin there with a solid looking shot. Lynch takes the fight into the clinch. A short right from Lynch. Lynch scores with a nice hook to the head. Lynch blocks an uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Catchmaer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
