The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perez has closed the distance and engaged Lai in a clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Lai has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Perez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lai prevents it.
Lai lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Perez throws a head punch that misses.
Lai throws a punch but it's blocked by Perez.
Lai misses with some punches.
Lai tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Perez has Lai pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Perez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lai tumbling to the mat - Perez dives into Lai's guard.

Westlake cracks Jovi with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jovi tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Westlake pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jovi is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Panteleev circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gracie to the canvas! Gracie doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Panteleev keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
