Marcum shoots for a double leg takedown but Bite sprawls well. He's pushed Marcum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bite closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Marcum to the mat! Marcum manages to get full guard.

Bite drops back, looking for a kneebar! Marcum looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Marcum looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Marcum!
Marcum tries to score with some ground and pound. Bite controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Marcum throws a sloppy strike and Bite has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Marcum is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Bite!

Yankuba is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ramaaker.

Ramaaker drops Yankuba with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Yankuba looks back up at him and smiles so Ramaaker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Keita Yankuba has been cut.
Yankuba fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Oh Yankuba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ramaaker fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Yankuba out cold! Brutal finish!

Palomies lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kreese backwards.
Palomies makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Palomies swings wildly with an uppercut but Kreese uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kreese is trying to trip Palomies. He has hold of a leg but Palomies is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kreese persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Palomies is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kreese defends well.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Palomies is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kreese closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Palomies did well to prevent Kreese getting side control.
Palomies is looking to improve his position.
Kreese is nestled in close to Palomies, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Palomies is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Palomies is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kreese's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kreese's back!

Kreese is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Palomies gets his way!

Kreese has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Palomies has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kreese taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Palomies doesn't care though - he's delighted!
