1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Afrikants Bbris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Bishop! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop throws a hook to the side of Bbris's head but Bbris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bbris gets in close and instigates a clinch. Our sources have told us that Bbris has been working on his elbows in the gym. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bishop creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bishop doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The referee is keeping an eye on Bbris - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A right hook to the body lands for Bishop.
Bbris blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bishop lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bbris backwards. Bbris is trying to break the clinch but Bishop has him pressed against the cage. Bbris can't break the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bishop pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bbris back to the cage. Bishop follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Bishop swings widly with a right hand
and Bbris counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Keith Bishop has been cut. Bishop cracks Bbris with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bbris rushes Bishop and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bbris is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bbris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bbris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bishop paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bishop cracks Bbris on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bbris falls backwards against the cage. Bishop follows up with more strikes that drop Bbris to his knees. Bishop keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bbris! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcelo moves into the clinch. Lee is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Lee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Lee manages to break the clinch.

Marcelo decides to pull guard. Lee stays in close to Marcelo's body and controls the position. Marcelo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lee defends it easily. Marcelo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marcelo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Lee forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marcelo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to advance position but Marcelo won't allow it. Lee sitting and controlling from the half guard. Lee missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lee controlling the action here. Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Marcelo for as long as he can get away with. Lee thows a huge punch but Marcelo dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lee works his foot free and advances to mount. Lee swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wieneke throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Petely turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Petely goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, KillaH rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Petely's guard! Nice work there by KillaH! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petely is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chartier throws a solid leg kick but Hunter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Chartier. Chartier fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hunter checks it well. Hunter just misses with a punch to the body.
