The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter leaves Andonov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hairsten gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sonnen.

Hairsten lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Hairsten's coach down at Highland CT & Spar was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hairsten's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Hairsten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hairsten circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Sonnen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hairsten follows Sonnen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Lee shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fonseca feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lee sprawling to the canvas! Lee rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fonseca finish him?!

Fonseca moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.

Skip Bayless seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clarke fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Meese lands a nice shot that snaps Clarke's head back.

It looks like Mitch Clarke has been cut.
Meese has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Clarke closes the distance and clinches up with Meese, looking for a takedown. Clarke pushes Meese against the cage but Meese circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Meese lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Meese drops Clarke with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Clarke looks back up at him and smiles so Meese waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Clarke is rocked!

Vitaly Dunaytsev had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Dino Bagatin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Vitaly Dunaytsev's chin.

Bagatin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bagatin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dunaytsev in his tracks.
Dunaytsev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bagatin closes the distance and lands a one-two.
