The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson throws a lazy head kick
and Green counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Peterson throws a sloppy head kick and Green moves out of range easily.

Green went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Peterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Peterson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Robbin Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Peterson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Peterson wants it to stay on the feet.

It looked like Green was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Peterson .
Green looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
