0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eduardo Gomes! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomes jabs at Tait's body. A head kick misses from Tait. Gomes forces Tait back against the cage and clinches. Tait lands a good knee to the midsection. Gomes won't want to take too many of those. Knees in the clinch landing for Tait.
Gomes takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Eduardo Gomes has been cut. Gomes fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Tait unloads a knee to the mid-section. Gomes lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Gomes on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tait with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Gomes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tait fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gomes looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tait throws a sloppy head kick and Gomes moves out of range easily. Whack! Tait lands a heavy head kick that drops Gomes. The ref tackles Tait to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gomes was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nover gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lesnar pulls guard. Nover is fighting to break Lesnar's control of his arms but Lesnar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lesnar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lesnar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Lesnar passes easily into side control. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar taking a breather here. Lesnar lands a nice forearm strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nover is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Lesnar is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Nover will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Lesnar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nover sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. You can see the frustration on Nover's face as Lesnar controls the position. Lesnar has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar controlling from mount. Lesnar is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Lesnar!

Man eats them both and turns towards Edgar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Edgar, as that shot connected.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overeem shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Balak napping and manages to drive through into side control! Balak prevents Overeem from improving position. Balak is looking to regain half guard here but Overeem keeps moving and retains side control. Overeem tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Overeem has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Overeem tries to move into full mount but can't pass Balak's legs. Balak tries to buck Overeem off but Overeem is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Overeem is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Balak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Balak gets back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Overeem is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Balak defends it well. Balak looking for submissions off his back. Overeem wants to pass the guard but Balak is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balak actively working from the bottom here. Overeem is pressing down on Balak's thigh, looking to free his foot. Balak is holding on for now. Balak looking for subs from the bottom but Overeem mounts him! Overeem has control of Balak's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Balak regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Overeem wants to finish this one by submission but Balak is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Overeem. Overeem jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Balak manages to avoid the submission attempt. Overeem wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Balak, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Overeem tries to move to mount but Balak blocks the move with his legs. Balak is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Overeem passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Balak! Overeem working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Overeem looking to secure an arm triangle but Balak defends it well. Balak is desperately trying to improve his position but Overeem has a good base and remains in mount. Balak regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Overeem wants to free his trapped foot but Balak is holding on for dear life with his legs. Balak is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Overeem pulls his head out easily. Overeem wants to pass the guard but Balak is defending well. Balak is in trouble now - Overeem has advanced to mount! Overeem looking to isolate an arm here. Balak doesn't see it coming and as Overeem extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Overeem!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ibid scores with a jab. Sulut acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Sulut avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ibid shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sulut pinned against the cage. Sulut gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ibid moves into range and clinches up with Sulut. Sulut manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ibid wants to stand and escape but instead Sulut has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ibid can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sulut controls the pace. Ibid doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
