The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zal tries to keep at a distance but Bryant has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bryant is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Zal can't fight it off and eventually Bryant manages to take the fight to the floor. Zal looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bryant working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
