Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Gregory McVaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Tillman! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McVaughn moves out of range of the body kick. Tillman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McVaughn is able to avoid easily. We've been told by McVaughn's head coaches at JP´s School Of Excellence that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. McVaughn is looking to land body kicks. Tillman throws a body punch but McVaughn moves out of range. McVaughn tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tillman manages to circle out of the way. Tillman moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
McVaughn needs to keep his hands up - Tillman had a free shot at his head there. McVaughn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McVaughn throws out a powerful jab. Tillman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Tillman throws a body shot but no joy. McVaughn pushes Tillman up against the cage in a clinch. McVaughn goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That made a horrendous noise. Byrd shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Byrd was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Byrd trying to control the position but Blye is working away. Byrd is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blye knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Byrd gets to mount! Archer thumps Petrescu with a low kick.

Petrescu tries to close the distance and clinch but Archer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Archer throws a lazy head kick and Petrescu counters with a lovely straight right hand! Petrescu swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Archer. Petrescu misses the jab. Archer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Archer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Petrescu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Archer throws a lazy head kick and Petrescu counters with a head kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Petrescu, right into the meat.

Petrescu tries to score with a low kick but Archer moves his leg out of the way. A nice side step and Archer releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Petrescu is rocked! A swing and a miss from Petrescu. Oh Petrescu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Archer lands a nice shot to the body.

and Archer counters with a crisp right hand that drops Petrescu! Archer lets Petrescu back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Archer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Petrescu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Archer swats him away and circles back towards the center. It's a brutal combination of punches from Archer! Petrescu is backing up but he can't get away as Archer lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Petrescu and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Props to Cu though, he brought the misfortune to me and becomes the champ.'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Karelis throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Karelis tries to clinch but fails miserably and Martinez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Martinez throws a looping overhand right but Karelis ducks down to avoid it. Martinez lands a really nice looking cross but Karelis seems unphased.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Martinez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Martinez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Karelis moves into the clinch. I was talking to Karelis's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Karelis tries to throw a body punch but Martinez avoids it by throwing Karelis back against the cage. Karelis lands a good knee to the midsection. Martinez won't want to take too many of those. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kelly, as that shot connected.
Kelly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kelly wants it to stay on the feet. Kelly lands a leg kick that knocks Vurny off balance momentarily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kelly, right into the meat.
Vurny on the wrong end of a nice jab. Vurny shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vurny was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kelly is trying to get back to his feet. Kelly is not content to let Vurny control the position. Vurny is working Kelly over with some ground and pound from side control. Wooooo! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barca tries to buck Mazzola off but Mazzola is having none of it. Barca can't do much from the bottom here. Barca is looking for a sweep. Barca regains half guard. Mazzola controlling the action here. Barca looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barca has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Mazzola. Oh but Barca has got full guard now! Oh boy! Junior seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Junior feints and then cracks Doubdtfire's leading leg with a nice low kick. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Doubdtfire ducked under it nicely. Doubdtfire throws a push kick but Junior slaps the foot to one side. Euphegen Doubdtfire is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Junior digs a right hand underneath Doubdtfire's ribcage. Doubdtfire let out a lung full of air as it connected. Junior misses with the head strike.
A short uppercut from Doubdtfire. Doubdtfire swings wildly with an uppercut but Junior uses good head movement to avoid it. Junior tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Euphegen Doubdtfire seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A head punch on the inside from Doubdtfire fails to land. Doubdtfire dodges an elbow strike from Junior.
And that's the end of the fight! Euphegen Doubdtfire comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Doubdtfire has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Traylor avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Traylor swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Mika tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Traylor was well out of range. Poor timing from Mika. Traylor lands a nice looking body kick. Mika tries to land a leg kick but Traylor saw it coming and moves away.
