1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Weber! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weber slips under a jab. Weber tries to clinch up but Tipton circles away and keeps his distance. It looked like Tipton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Weber gets a clinch. Tipton avoids a wild elbow strike from Weber. Tipton can't find room to land a body shot as Weber controls the action.

Tipton tries to work over Weber's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tipton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Tipton or perhaps it was just good defense by Weber, which made it look bad. Weber tries to counter by closing the distance. Weber tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Tipton paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tipton connects with a body shot that sends Weber's belly button to the back. Tipton tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Weber blocks a jab. Weber is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Tipton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Tipton throws a right hand that Weber ducks under and follows up with a left that Weber also avoids with ease. Tipton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Weber! Tipton has an Americana. Weber didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tipton is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tipton hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Morgan throws a shot from downtown. McSlamm moves away and avoids it. McSlamm swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Morgan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McSlamm avoids it really well and circles away. Morgan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McSlamm to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McSlamm is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. McSlamm trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McSlamm is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. McSlamm throws an elbow that misses. Morgan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McSlamm's guard. Nice move by Morgan! Morgan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McSlamm looking for a triangle here. Morgan is fighting it but it looks tight! McSlamm pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Morgan is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Sara McSlamm! Sara McSlamm was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

33 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Oppelaar! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barkley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oppelaar. Oppelaar is looking to clinch. Barkley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oppelaar's guard. Barkley tries to free his leg and advance position but Oppelaar is retaining full guard. Oppelaar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Barkley trying to control the position from guard on top but Oppelaar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Barkley is in close to Oppelaar's body, working some short punches and elbows. Oppelaar looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Barkley puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Barkley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
