The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown misses with a body shot.
Winston throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brown was covering up waiting for the punch and Winston finishes the takedown easily into guard. Brown trying to strike off his back.
Winston wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position. Winston is working hard here to advance position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winston avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winston works to advance to full mount. Brown defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Winston is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Brown has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Zakkara has hold of Elf's hands but Elf slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Elf performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are battling for position here. Zakkara manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Elf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zakkara swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zakkara is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zakkara can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Elf controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zakkara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Elf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Elf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters roll with the hold and Zakkara manages to kick Elf off! Elf jumps back into Zakkara's guard. Elf looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Elf throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zakkara works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Elf wants to pass the guard but Zakkara is keeping the position. Elf working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Zakkara's head. Elf controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Elf lands a couple of decent looking shots. Elf with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Elf controls from within his opponent's guard. Zakkara lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babangida throws a head kick but Robredo moves out of range.
Robredo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Babangida, pushing him back against the cage. Robredo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Babangida backwards. Robredo manages to break the clinch.
Robredo cracks Babangida with an open hand slap.
It looks like Ibrahima Babangida has been cut. Robredo digs a good body shot into Babangida's ribs. Babangida throws a head kick that misses. Babangida fails to land the takedown. Babangida should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robredo drops Babangida with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Babangida looks back up at him and smiles so Robredo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Robredo goes for a small jab and connects. Now Robredo goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Babangida stumbles back but Robredo runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Babangida to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Babangida will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Kuznetsov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Clay bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Clay wants to stand but Kuznetsov has his arm trapped. Kuznetsov can't do much from the bottom here. Clay tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kuznetsov's legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clay wants to stand but Kuznetsov is controlling his arm. Kuznetsov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuznetsov sneaks back into half guard. Kuznetsov tries to kick Clay off but Clay keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kuznetsov wants to improve his position but Clay is controlling well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Clay lands a nice short elbow. Clay is looking for a kimura but Kuznetsov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clay to get the leverage. Clay performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kuznetsov has hold of Clay's hands but Clay slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Clay looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Clay is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kuznetsov is just riding it out for now. Clay eventually gives up the hold. Clay working Kuznetsov over with strikes.

Clay advances nicely into full mount. Clay cracks Kuznetsov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Kuznetsov tries to clinch but Clay moves out of range. Clay with the counter takedown but Kuznetsov avoids it easily. Clay moves into the clinch. Clay wants the takedown. Kuznetsov is fighting it off but Clay persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kuznetsov's guard against the cage. Clay is stalling in the full guard. Kuznetsov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kuznetsov is rocked! Clay postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kuznetsov in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kuznetsov to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

A head kick misses from Johnson. Blynn throws the kick towards the body but Johnson avoids it. Blynn closes the distance and clinches. Johnson wants to break free but Blynn has control.
Blynn goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Anthony Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Blynn fails with a takedown attempt. A head kick by Johnson misses letting Blynn counter with a right hand. Johnson lands a nice looking body kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blynn dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Blynn's head and hops out. Johnson stuffs the takedown. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson gets tackled into the cage by Blynn. Blynn maintains the clinch. Blynn jumps guard.
Blynn manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Blynn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Blynn misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Blynn dips to his left and cracks Johnson with an uppercut! Blynn pushes Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.
